Fresco Trattoria Pizzeria Napoli Centrale — Restaurant in Naples

When we went into the restaurant a person with afro hair just pointed into the restaurant when we asked for a table. A young person came and took our order (all going ok). In the order was meatballs and spaghetti,we were told that meatballs is 1 dish and spaghetti was another dish, this was ok as we were all hungry. I ordered carbonara. Sometime later I could see a lady behind us was given a large plate of spaghetti and meatballs which she ate for about 5 to 10 minutes before another waiter brought her another plate of food - he looked confused ! The waiter took away the plate of spaghetti and meatballs and gave her the dish she ordered. The spaghetti and meatballs were returned to the kitchen hatch were there was a lot of hand waving and shouting going on. The next thing our table's food arrived my carbonara was like scrambled eggs and spaghetti and the meatballs and spaghetti seemed to have the same leaf garnish as the lady behind had on the plate of meatballs and spaghetti she got by mistake. The person with the afro hair served the spaghetti and meatballs, these disgusting people scraped the spaghetti and meatballs off the dish the lady behind us was eating and served this DIRTY FOOD as a fresh meal. This is a disgusting restaurant serving DIRTY FOOD. If food fell on the floor you can be sure it will be put into your dinner.

We visited Fresco twice on our trip to Naples, and had two completely different experiences.

The first visit was great! The food (the photos added) was delicious, the service was okay. We were seated with menus and given some bread along with oil and vinegar and the price was reasonable for what we had. We enjoyed it so much we decided to come back on our last night for our last dinner in Naples.

The second time wasn’t very good. We weren’t given menus but told to use a QR code but other customers, who came in after us, were given menus. We waited about 20 minutes to order, and were given another table’s drinks order. When we did get our food it came out pretty much all together (starter came out with the main, which didn’t happen on the first visit) so we felt rushed and the quality wasn’t as good. We then went to pay and the man who sorted our bill didn’t even look or speak to us the whole transaction and handed my partner his receipt whilst looking in the opposite direction, which we...

Needed a quick meal before catching our train. Ordered pizzas and Pasta, it took a looong time for the food to arrive. We ordered the food, after ordering my wife and I actually went to a Kebab store in front of the train station (10min walk from the station) ordered 5 kebabs, came back with the kebabs, and the pizza and pasta was still not out. After coming back with the kebabs we actually had to wait another 10 min or so. We did not have too much time to eat. Food once arrived was good, only wished we had more time to enjoy the food. Pizza was good, don't order any fancy pizza just get the normal ones, the fancy pizza just had toppings that did not serve any purpose other than being more pricy. The normal regular pizza was way better. Pasta was aright, don't think I'll order pasta if I had to go back the next time, only pizza, good...
