This was my favourite place I ate in Napoli! We went 2 days in a row! The service was so friendly and efficient for 7 people and they even gave us some dessert on the house! The pana cotta was light and sweet with the berry sauce and the tiramisu was fresh and not overwhelming. The pizza fritte was MASSIVE and sooo yummy, soft and the fillings were very flavoursome. We also got pasta dishes with the mixed spaghetti and creamy rigatoni being especially yummy! The octopus salad was very fresh and flavoursome and the calamari and gamberi dish was the best we had on our trip. They sell the T-shirts as merch and so that was also a lovely addition! 100% recommend although if you want pasta don’t go too close to closing as they only serve pizza stone that time ⭐️⭐️we ordered many sides and drinks so it was around €18pp for main and sides and drink, however the menu is...
Read moreBy far the best restaurant we visited in 5 days. Genuine and uncomplicated food. Everything we have tried was cooked to perfection, from pizza to pasta, contourni or fried fish. And we are very demanding. Perfect balance in flavours, seasonings, cooking. Bottle of wine 12 euro. Don't expect anything fancy. You serve your wine yourself, ear on paper and use paper napkins, and can sometimes get understood by waiters. But people are smiling, willing to assist, eager to please. Locals customers only, with badge around the neck to get back to the office. Some travelers waiting for their coach or train at the nearby stations. All travellers should gather here ! Unforgettable Napolitan experience. Next time we eat here the 5 days ! (fish pic was taken when I remembered I should report the place, quantity was 4 times...

While the outdoor area was small, we opted to sit inside, where the cozy ambiance enveloped us. However, the table for four proved a tad snug for both us and the generous spread of delectable dishes we ordered. The pizza and pasta offerings were undeniably satisfying, showcasing authentic flavors that transported us to the streets of Napoli. Moreover, the reasonably priced wine selection added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. Yet, while our experience was true to Napoli's culinary heritage, it didn't quite rank as the best we've had. Nonetheless, Pizzeria Scugnizzo Trattoria offers a genuine taste of Italy, making it a worthwhile stop for any Italian food...
