La Bottega Del Giullare — Restaurant in Narni

We had lunch at the restaurant. It is possible to eat outside as well as indoors. We opted for indoors even though, we had our miniature schnauzer with us. By the way, we did not have a reservation, the place was empty and we were concerned that the experience might not be good. We were wrong; the food was fresh and yummy and the service excellent and friendly. Tagliatelle with the artichoke with dried tomatoes and ham was perfect and the wild boar stew ,surprisingly ,not gamey at all , delicious ! Many thanks to the chef...

Viste le recensioni positive devo dire che noi siamo stati a quanto pare sfortunati! Non recensisco mai i ristoranti ma questa volta non ne posso fare a meno. Prenotiamo un tavolo da 5 per le 21.30 (ok magari è un pochino tardi, ma bastava dire di no al telefono, se non avevate voglia di lavorare) la faccio breve: il cameriere che ci ha aperto il vino è arrivato a tavola sbuffando (l'abbiamo presa quasi a ridere) ordiniamo come antipasto 2 taglieri (buoni) e poi 5 primi tra cui 2 pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale. Mai stata fatta una peggior scelta in vita mia, già la presentazione del piatto lasciava desiderare. La pasta era tutta spezzata e sembrava, vi giuro, come se avessero preso la pasta avanzata precedentemente e l'avessero riscaldata al microonde. (mi pento di non aver fatto una foto del piatto). Gli altri 3 primi devo dire invece molto buoni! Poi abbiamo dovuto attendere che il cameriere finisse di mettere tavoli e sedie dentro il locale per poi degnarsi di sparecchiarci i piatti da tavola ovviamente senza interessarsi minimamente del fatto che entrambi i piatti con le pappardelle fossero stati lasciati. Non pretendo assolutamente un servizio 5 stelle ma un minimo di rispetto ci vuole sempre. E poi cari ragazzi, di questi tempi è fortunato chi ha un lavoro quindi se non ne avete voglia lasciate spazio a chi ne...

Nice place with pizza and local dishes in the centre of Narni. Good service and possibly to sit both inside and out in the middle of the street. The outside place is shady and cool on a warm summer day and you will really share the street with the traffic. It is possible to find space inside for bigger groups of people.
