Sometimes you have just a bad day. Holiday is running to it’s second half. Everyone is sunburned. Tired. Kids want to get from you more just don’t know what exactly. Your wife can give you any advice. Even those not desired. And then comes the idea to spend day off. Morning just doing nothing (though YouTube is a good partner at least for kids). And later you decide to go to Etna Volcano. And despite earlier experience from Mt. Teide / Tenerife, we have to say that Etna is a real darling. That lava fields are massive and some of the buildings covered by lava on the way back are memorable. And then your kids get hungry. So we went to Nicolosi village. What a beautiful village! But is there any open restaurant at 6pm? The first one seems to be worth to try. There are people in, but restaurant is closed. But team offers to open immediately if we are interested. Since then I don’t remember exactly everything. We were all over the moon. Fantastic people, brilliant food and customer service (thanks for navigating me to the right parking spot + blocking the space for me). All together - wonderful experience. Can only recommend!
NB: In the Czech Republic we have a TV master chef, Mr. Pohlreich. His most famous food - veal cheeks… but after eating your veal cheeks in red wine with mashed potato with red beer and all other specialties I’m still breathless. Your veal cheeks are second to none. And atmosphere in your restaurant - Italian! Relaxed, friendly but highly professional with only smiling people. Well done, guys! I hope to visit you again. Some...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Garibaldi and I must say that it was truly a fantastic experience. The restaurant's authenticity and commitment to Italian culture are immediately apparent from the moment you step through the door. The warm, welcoming atmosphere, the attentive staff, and the delicious food all come together to create an unforgettable dining experience.
From the moment I sat down, I could tell that every detail was thoughtfully considered to provide guests with an authentic Italian experience. The menu offers a range of traditional Italian dishes that are crafted with the finest ingredients and presented beautifully. I tried the spaghetti carbonara, and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the portion size was just right.
But what really sets Osteria Garibaldi apart is the attention to detail that goes into every aspect of the restaurant. From the decor to the music to the attentive service, every element has been carefully curated to transport diners to Italy. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to recommend dishes or provide information about the ingredients.
Overall, I highly recommend Osteria Garibaldi to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply looking for a delicious meal, this restaurant will not disappoint. The food is outstanding, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is simply unbeatable. I can't wait to go back and try more of their...
Read moreA Disappointing Experience at Osteria Garibaldi
I recently visited Osteria Garibaldi with high hopes, but unfortunately, it was really one of the worst experiences i had in italy. We ordered the classic lasagna and the recommended mushroom lasagna. The classic lasagna was a disaster - it was swimming in oil and had cartilage in it, which was not only unpleasant but also a bit disturbing. The mushroom lasagna was even worse. The mushrooms tasted like they were straight out of the freezer, and the dish had a frozen-lasagna flavor that was completely unappetizing.
The service was also disappointing. Our server seemed unfriendly and uninterested in our experience, which didn't help to alleviate the disappointment we felt after tasting the food.
Overall, I would not recommend Osteria Garibaldi to anyone looking for a good Italian meal. The food was substandard, and the service was lacking. I cannot understand the good ratings this...
