Locanda del Teatro — Restaurant in Norcia

We had a fabulous meal last week whilst visiting Norcia. The Staff were very helpful & friendly & 2 young guys serving were everything you want & need in a busy Restaurant. Both were constantly looking, constantly checking & both were fully aware of all of the Diners needs - and met them all immediately in a very professional manner. Very impressive. We followed the good reviews but were really disappointed by the quality of the food. The truffle dishes either use low quality truffles or are badly cooked - in any case, they are just not tasty comparing to other restaurants in the area. The soup we ordered had no character and regarding the starter with the region's products - the cold cuts were fine (you can't get these wrong can you?) A Norcia per una giornata alternativa (sabato 8 ottobre), abbiamo seguito le recensioni e ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questo ristorante. Abbiamo preso tre strangozzi al tartufo non pregiato e un piatto di tagliatelle con ragù di cinghiale. Le porzioni ricevute erano quasi la metà di quelle degli altri commensali ed alla rimostranza fatta nei confronti di uno dei titolari, lo stesso rispondeva che le nostre erano quelle giuste, mentre erano abbondanti le altre. Sta di fatto che il prezzo pagato è stato comunque da menù, per una porzione inferiore. È vero sì che per riparare, il titolare ha portato una mini porzione di strangozzi ed un mini porzione di tagliatelle per tutti e quattro, oserei dire ridicolo. Aggiungerei, tra l'altro, che gli strangozzi, per quanto al tartufo non pregiato, li avrebbero dovuti fare con tartufo vero grattugiato sopra e non con la crema di tartufo. Vorrei anche precisare, per chi volesse aggiungere del formaggio grattugiato, sale e pepe oppure olio ed aceto alle pietanze, di farvene metterne subito la giusta quantità, magari rischiando anche di abbondare, perché sul tavolo non li trovate ed il cameriere alla richiesta, ve li porta, li serve lui e li riporta subito indietro ...... un'assurdità mai vista in nessun locale!
