Casa Bohème Bistro — Restaurant in Olbia

So much potential for an amazing experience. However our dinner fell quite short on customer experience.

First we had a waitress who was quite abrasive. We asked one question about the menu and she quickly passed us to another waiter who spoke better English. The next waiter forgot to place my cocktail order and my friends were nearly finished with their drink when mine arrived. Next, we all ordered steak - everyone else’s looked great while mine was full of gristle and fat. I pointed this out to the waiter and he was defensive, not acknowledging the stark difference between my steak and the others. Finally when we were finishing, the waitress returned and pulled my plate while I was in the middle of my last bite.

The interior was gorgeous but the energy was all wrong and did not feel like an experience worthy of prices we’d been expect back in NYC.

Also, after reading through other customers 1-2 star reviews and the owner’s responses - I am not surprised by the energy and attitude of the staff. I see where it comes...

Reading through the comments I’m actually shocked that well traveled and what seem to be well fed people rate Casa Boheme.

Yes the interior is Instagramable as is the whole town absolutely stunning.

However, the food is nothing to be desired especially at the prices you are paying.

We genuinely had to send one of the Apetizers back. A tough veal dish covered in a grey sludge which was not appealing to the eye nor pallet.

The pastas were edible but nothing more inspiring than a premium supermarket ready meal.

Before choosing to dine here, take a walk round the restaurant and see the size of the kitchen compared to the size of the restraursnt and tables.

It is only designed to look good but not taste good.

Avoid if you care about the food, visit if you care about the likes...

We had a truly wonderful experience at this beautiful, bohemian-style restaurant. We visited with our young daughter, who suddenly got hungry and wasn’t interested in her packed lunch. Even though the kitchen was closed for lunch and only tapas and drinks were available, the owners went above and beyond for us. They kindly invited us in, spoke with the chef, and made a special dish just for our baby. While we waited, they gave us a private tour of their stunning restaurant. The hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail were truly exceptional. We felt so welcomed and cared for.
