If you want to Die, GO Here! The owner, manger and receptionist have no value for human life. They just want 400 Euros and will STEAL your money. My friend who lives in Sardinia made a reservation here without knowing the menu is mainly fish and shellfish and I have an allergy to both and cannot have cross contamination. She made the res at 7pm and once I told her in the morning I can’t go there bc I could die if I have cross contamination. she went into town to advise the restaurant in person of the mistake she made. No one was there and she was able to make contact w the manger via WhatsApp who repeated she needed to be penalized and pay 400 euros for the simple error even with ample notice to give the table of 4 people to someone on the waiting list. The woman on WhatsApp became extremely rude and charged the card even before the reservation. Her reply was there are vegetarian and meat options you can use 400 euros off your bill. If you don’t come in we will keep your money. In light of the situation and allergy we said it was not worth risking someone dying. The restaurant kept the money refused to give it back even when her husband went in the next day and spoke with the owner. Clearly they have no value for human life and if you have a severe allergy, they don’t care they’re taking your money and could care less about repeat business for someone who lives on the island who can go back and bring other friends there. Instead are in the business of taking someone’s money and making a quick buck. Now we know they have a reputation for being rude, aggressive and completely insensitive to an honest mistake with a severe allergy with ample time to...
Read moreSuperbly located in a beautiful and cozy little town, the restaurant presents itself with class and promess. The interior is nice, well decorated, fancy but not too much. Staff was nice. Great Moscow mule variation. The food was a treat, at least antipasti and primi piatti, delicious and original suggestions. Wine matching as suggested by the rather rushed sommelier/maître was a complete miss, if only he had spent a second listening to what was being asked rather than interrupting, looking and walking back and forth between our table and his friends table behind. Our main course was and entire fish, unfortunately rather unimpressive.. One serving of perhaps 200g of fish each (from what was supposedly a 1kg fish) a couple unevenly cooked potatoes and a few, so very few vegetables to add color to the plate.. They didn't have the wine bottle we ordered with the fish and the alternative was off.. again.. poor choice to trust the sommelier confirmed. Much of my rating goes to the place, friendliness of staff and rather interesting menu and combinations. Ultimately, the restaurant doesn't make it to the category it aims to be, rather disappointing sommelier/maitre/manager. Would go again to give it another...
Read moreFood is expensive and average at best. But it can be a fun place, so consider going only for drinks and atmosphere (if that’s your thing).
This place is a mixed bag. It looks great and it’s always packed. I think that attracts even higher demand.
The location is very nice and the restaurant looks really good, so kudos to them for that.
For us, the service was good. We had a very friendly and charismatic waiter which was very helpful with the local wine recommendation and served us some starters on the house. All of the staff was friendly and helpful and I must commend them as I think it was challenging to stay professional with the house party taking place on the terrace.
There’s not much to say about the food that wasn’t covered in the other reviews. All style, no substance and pretty uninspiring. We really wanted to like it, but none of the dishes we tried gets a higher than average rating. If you factor in the high prices (avg dish = €50), which creates higher expectations, then the food rating gets even worse.
As I mentioned in the beginning, it can be fun. But there was a strong “staged party” vibe to it as the atmosphere didn’t...
