Zara Cafè - Trattoria da Nicolino — Restaurant in Olbia

Be careful at this place because you can get very surprised when getting the bill. First ,,Insalata di polpo" priced 10e in menu is actually 12e. Second thing is, when I wanted to order the ,,Linguine allo di scolpio con pomodorini" from menu which costs 14e (at least according to menu), the waiter recommended me to go with the same option but with lobster. I agreed. The one thing he forgot to mention that the other option which is not on the menu is 2 times more expensive (25e). On the bill it is called ,,Spaghetti aragostelle" which is of course different type of pasta than what I had. So I tought we got wrong bill (wrong price of starter, wrong name of dish, 2 times higher price). I told him that there is probably some error on the bill. But he explained that it is exactly what we had and asked if it is ok. I dont speak Italian, you dont speak English (not to mention other waiter who runs away when he hears english), so no, bill is not ok but what should I do call the police? Just get your prices and menu together and be transparent to your guests because now you look like complete...

Our 6th night in La Pantaloe and so far the food has been great but sorry to say this was not one of those nights. Service was mediocre as if they weren't greatly interested is actually serving you, waiter had to be told at least 3 times that were looking for a table. Menu was good so thought go for steak, had a great experience earlier it the week at another restaurant. Asked for it medium but came rare, lot of effort involved in cutting it and although tasted good was just that. Overall not a great experience. Put it down to just being unlucky or it was just...

Very friendly staff and excellent food. My husband enjoyed the pasta with wild boar to start, I had fresh ricotta ravioli and we both had sea bass for a main which had a tasty ultra thin potatoe crust with some cherry tomatoes. There were a lot of wine options at reasonable prices including by the glass for 5 euros but we opted for the drinkable “house”red which you could buy for 10 euros for 1/2 a litre.
