Horrible experience, we were recommended this restaurant by the hotel and made reservations in advance. We ordered the food at 7:30PM, there was only three tables at the time we got in. Only one appetizer had been served by 8:50PM, which was mediocre for the price. Various tables that came in and ordered after us got their food ahead of us. When I asked the server she mentioned our food was comining, so we gave it another 15 minutes and still the food didn't show up. We got up and the server became very rude when we provided the feedback. Charged us 42 euros for bread, water, one drink and an appetizer. The view is great but the food and the service is NOT WORTH IT.

Un’esperienza purtroppo sotto le aspettative Con grande dispiacere ci troviamo a segnalare un’esperienza che, per diversi motivi, non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. Tra le note positive, la tartare di ombrina, che si è distinta per la freschezza del pesce e una presentazione curata e il vino Kintari della cantina Saraja che è stato davvero una ottima opzione. Tuttavia, il resto dell’esperienza non ha convinto: il servizio è risultato molto lento, con episodi spiacevoli come l’attesa di oltre mezz’ora per ricevere semplicemente il cestino del pane. Altro punto critico sono stati i prezzi, cito come esempio un piatto di culurgiones proposto a 25€ — cifra oggettivamente alta, specie in assenza di un menù consultabile sul sito dell’hotel/ristorante, che renderebbe più chiaro cosa aspettarsi. Ci tengo a precisare che non è stato il conto a lasciare amareggiati: ho avuto la fortuna di mangiare in ristoranti stellati come Villa Crespi, quindi comprendo il valore di una proposta alta. Ma per certi prezzi ci si aspetta un livello di servizio e attenzione ben più elevato, cosa che purtroppo, nel nostro caso, non c’è stata. Credo fermamente che segnalazioni costruttive possano essere utili per crescere, soprattutto per una realtà come quella dell’Hotel Diffuso Mannois, che gode di una forte visibilità e attrattiva nel territorio. Spero quindi che questa mia recensione venga accolta come uno spunto per migliorare e tornare a offrire un’esperienza all’altezza della bellezza del contesto in cui il ristorante è inserito. Wonderful restaurant with delicious food and amazing sunset views. In late May, we were able to get a reservation the day before our arrival (though I imagine you must make a reservation far more in advance during the high season). We enjoyed the local oysters, the cheese and cured meats plate, squid ink/cuttlefish pasta, and lobster tail pasta. All were very nicely composed and tasty. We finished our meal with a delightful pastry. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Orosei!

Only positive feature of this place is the view. Our waiter was not attentive at all. We ordered carpaccio to start with which was good. My tuna steak was overcooked and my husband's lasagne were tastless. We said to waiter that we didnt like our food as we left more than half porrions on our plates but he didnt understand English Well. When we asked for bill we reminded him that our main courses were not great at all. He took our bill to manager and didnt do anything about that at all. We paid full price for our meals. Manager didnt even bother to come and apologise or give at least some free drink to make cutomers experience better. I do work in hospitality myself and this business doesnt appreciate customers, it's only business for them. There is no passion and heart in this...

If I could give 3.5 stars I would. Decent food - particularly the tuna steak - but lacking in atmosphere and charm. Priced as expected given it’s associated with a hotel and has a roof terrace. A little bit disappointing overall.

I don’t think there is a great choice of upmarket restaurants in town so we went for the one associated with our hotel. We got a seat outside which would have been nicer had the chimney / extractor unit not been churning loudly the whole time. The staff were attentive but not engaging.

We had the beef ragu Sardinian pasta gnocchi then dorado and tuna steak. Pasta dish ok and a good portion size. The dorado was also reasonably good. The tuna steak was exceptional: served rare with a fennel salad, it was a large steak...

What can I say.. this place it's only for "stupid " tourists, I mean for that kind of people who doesn't know what you could have for that money.. mostly you're paying for the view... food is good but not worth this money... in English version of menu you don't even know what is in the order.. for example I ordered "grilled seafood" and normally you expect moussels, prawns, squid and etc. But I got 3prawns and some kind of fish which I don't even know and I didn't really like it... my boyfriend ordered roasted beef in mushorm sauce but he got one slice like 0.5cm and just mushrooms... 2 glasses of white wine, bottle of water, ham and sausage platter and coperto and 70euros... for 70 euro you can eat 2 days... Did...
