I rarely leave reviews, but our experience at Pasta Pasta was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to write one. My partner and I stopped by for a light dinner after a long day — just a glass of wine each and some starters. Initially, the waitress was friendly, but as soon as we mentioned we wouldn’t be ordering mains because we were tired, her attitude completely changed. She abruptly told us this “was not a lounge bar” and became noticeably rude. We ordered a glass of wine each!
We were shocked by how quickly the hospitality disappeared. We had ordered and paid for starters and wine — hardly an unreasonable order — and yet we were treated as if we were unwelcome. We ordered the big basket of bread and the two pieces of culurgiones (have receipts to show!) When we left, the waitress even refused to let us take the bottle of still water we had paid for, snatching it aggressively out of our hands. Not once did they explain why.
We’ve travelled extensively throughout Europe and have never encountered such ungracious, inhospitable service. The food was overpriced for what it was, and the experience left a sour taste. With so many incredible, welcoming restaurants in Orosei, there’s absolutely no reason to waste your time or money here. Hopefully, the individual at Pasta Pasta receives proper training in the future — basic courtesy would be a good start!
We spent 45 minutes in that restaurant and had a lot of conversation with the head waitress, not once did she tell us that we had to order a main meal. We spent 31 euro on two glasses of wine and a starter of bread and two tiny pieces of culurgiones.
Also read how rediculous their comment back is lol! Do you really want to eat in this restaurant?? Can recommend...
Read moreVery rude service!!! The girl was very arrogant, the waiter guy was the only one who was kind of okay. Absolutely not family friendly. When our kids started to cry we went out with them immediately, but the rude girl told us to keep the babies quiet 🤐 cuz there are other PAYING costumers who wants to eat in silence. We told her that we are going out with the babies when they are crying and stuff of course, cuz we don't want to annoy others, but she repeated only herself and told us again "there are other PAYING costumers so keep quiet 🤐". So I told her okay, no problem, I'll pay for the drinks we had, but we won't wait for the food and ofc don't pay for it either. Then she started to shout at us in Italiano and throw things like a child... At the end we had to pay 100€ for the 85€ food cuz they added also a service fee 15€ even if the service was the worst in my life... The arrogant girl is the chefs girlfriend so she act like a hysteric child. The food was okay, but absolutely not more than okay... Overpriced and not worth at all!
If you want to have a great dinner with friendly service and good food... Go away and don't look back! Even the worst place is better than...
Read morewhat can I say, the waitress is so hypocritical. we arrived at 21, without reservation so okay we waited for an hour to get seated. then in the restaurant we waited for half an hour to got our order taken, without any explanation during waiting. while the order was taken, the waitress gave a fake smile “sorry, technical error, I hope it’s okay” I mean even if it was not okay, what could we do in that moment? then another half an hour waiting for food. in the end while paying we asked if it is possible to have any compensation because it was two hours of waiting without any notice. the waitress said with eyes rolling “you pay what you ordered, that’s the price. I have to serve other customers I have no time for you” the food as shown in the picture, not even impressive by any means for being quite pricy. the restaurant is full of foreigners and you can see all the English review I assume locals actually don’t really come here to eat. (Knowing the service I know under this review I will receive a sarcastical comment from the restaurant, let’s see how arrogant...
