Pizzeria Braceria Da Fabio Ristorante — Restaurant in Ortona

We have been traveling through Italy for many weeks. This is our 4th trip in the last few years. We have been to the north, south and everyplace in between and never once were we treated so rudely. We arrived at 7 pm( I know that is early for Italy). We ordered multiple courses, a bottle of wine and dessert. At 8:30 they made it very clear it was time for us to leave. Our dessert and wine were not even finished. First they brought the check which is not typical protocol in Italy and then shortly thereafter a server came by and indicated that it was time to leave. This experience is also not typical in Italy. Every restaurant we have been to has been an amazing experience. Shame on this establishment. Durante una giornata passata fuori Ortona, alle 17 del pomeriggio, chiamo la pizzeria per ordinare 4 pizze da asporto per la sera. Mi si da' appuntamento per le 20:15. Arrivo puntuale, aspetto fuori per il rispetto delle norme covid, e già vedo che la fila sembra essere molto lunga. Nonostante ciò mi tranquillizzo in virtù del fatto che avessi fatto un'ordinazione telefonica nel pomeriggio. Dopo pochi minuti esce la cameriera chiedendo chi fossi, le do' il nome che avevo lasciato al momento dell'ordine e l'orario della prenotazione. Mi rassicura sul fatto che le pizze sarebbero state pronte in pochi minuti e mi chiede di aspettare fuori. Passa mezz'ora ed inizio a perdere la pazienza perché di pizze ancora neanche l'ombra, al che richiamo la cameriera chiedendo spiegazioni, va' a parlare con i titolari e torna dicendomi che le pizze sarebbero uscite dopo pochi minuti. Si fanno le 21, sto aspettando da 45 minuti e ancora niente. Ogni tanto vedo la cameriera che mi lancia qualche occhiata, molto vergognata, e ad un certo punto viene a dirmi di entrare e fare io stesso pressioni sui titolari, a questo punto entro e chiedo spiegazioni direttamente a loro. Mi si dice che la mia ordinazione era per le 21:15 (cosa falsa, la telefonata era registrata e l'ho riascoltata, l'orario indicatomi era quello delle 20:15) e che comunque avrebbero provveduto immediatamente a fare le pizze. Per farla breve dalle 21, ora in cui sono entrato a chiedere spiegazioni, è passata un'altra mezz'ora di tempo prima che le pizze fossero pronte. 4 pizze. Un'ora e un quarto di attesa. Dalle 20:15 alle 21:30. Ora, era il 4 Settembre e c'era il concerto di Rkomi in città, quindi forse erano stati sovraccaricati di prenotazioni, tuttavia ciò non giustifica tale attesa e trattamento (per carità, io ero nervoso e gliel'ho fatto presente, rimanendo sempre educato si intende, ma il proprietario pizzaiolo diciamo che non mi ha risposto benissimo). Per quanto mi riguarda quando tornerò ad Ortona eviterò di passare nuovamente da...

Purtroppo la mia esperienza è stata disastrosa, non posso raccomandare questo posto a nessuno. Per cominciare, l'uomo che ci ha servito non è bravo a servire il pubblico, è super scortese e completamente disinteressato ai clienti. Eravamo un gruppo di 5 persone, uno di loro ha chiesto un menù, hanno portato insieme i due piatti, il primo e il secondo, quando si sono accorti si sono ripresi il secondo ma poi abbiamo dovuto reclamare nuovamente affinché loro potrebbero servirlo di nuovo e anche loro hanno sbagliato. Il cibo non è arrivato insieme, per non parlare del fatto che il mio non è mai arrivato! Ho ordinato un risotto che non è mai arrivato... dopo che tutti avevano mangiato lo abbiamo chiesto e quest'uomo ci ha detto che lo stavano preparando, e 1 ora dopo aver fatto l'ordine lo abbiamo chiesto di nuovo e se n'è andato senza dire nulla. Abbiamo dovuto richiamarlo e chiedergli se non fosse stato fatto e lì ci ha detto NO. Non ci hanno chiesto scuse, né alcuna soluzione!!! Servizio orribile!!

Unfortunately my experience was disastrous, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. To begin with, the man who served us is not good at serving the public, super unfriendly and completely disinterested in customers. We have been a group of 5 people, one of them has asked for a menu, they have brought the two dishes together, the first and the second, when they realized they took the second back but later we had to claim again so that they could serve it again and also they brought it wrong. The food did not arrive together, not to mention that mine never arrived! I ordered a risotto that never arrived... after everyone had eaten we asked for it and this man told us that they were preparing it, and 1 hour after placing the order we asked for it again and he left without saying anything. We had to call him back and ask if it was not done and there he told us NO. They did not ask us for an apology, nor any solution !!! ...
