Why? The overall experience was fine. The restaurant and waiters look great. I was a pizza chef for 11 years. It was OK, not great, not bad. Maybe the dough was just half a day late and hence not evenly baked or baked too fast. The reason that I gave it a mid score overall was the old-school attitude of "its just another American tourist" on the faces and lips of staff that weren't even serving my table. And I'm not American. Staff need to have personal conversations somewhere in the back. I would have loved to be suggested a specialty or something interesting, equal to the beauty of the establishment. But it turned into "fast-food". I had 40€ to spend and you got €20. Read moreThis is the right place if you are looking for good food, not formal, easy place. People are friendly. Service is fast enough. Food is amazing: pizza are very nice. Paella is excellent and spaghetti allo scoglio are very rich and portions are generous. Desserts are very nice ranging from tiramisu, north italy, to pastiera napolitan. Interesting cakes too, nice the one chocolate and pistachios....
Read moreWe loved this restaurant! The staff are super friendly and the food was good. It is too bad we found it on our last day in Padua. We never went because we thought they only served pizza, but in reality they have an exrensive menu.
They also have longer hours than most restaurants.
