Q-Tuppo - Granite messinesi — Restaurant in Palermo

What a great discovery ! Not being a big fan of granite (the ones we usually find full of syrup of dubious origin) we went there at the request of our kids having seen the great reviews. Well my opinion on granite has been changed forever! In the end we went there twice in the afternoon and got seconds every time. The granite are just delicious with just fresh fruits, water and a little sugar. A lot of different tastes (I personally found the orange amazing but the rest of the crew enjoyed strawberry, chocolate and pear) all super fresh. The texture is amazing, quite close to an ice cream. Questa sera siamo venuti ad inaugurare la nuova stagione..... Ed essendo degli assidui clienti del punto di Porta Nuova della scorsa stagione ci siamo accorti delle notevoli differenze ma purtroppo in peggio! A parte i prezzi aumentati che l'aggiunta della panna adesso si paga(!) la cosa può essere sorvolata se la qualità fosse rimasta invariata, ma ahimè anche quella devo dire che e' calata proporzionalmente all'aumento dei prezzi! Anche il bicchiere grande risulta essere meno voluminoso rispetto allo scorso anno...... Le granite non sanno più di artigiane ma di artefatto e posso capire che panna e granita si sciolgano a giugno/luglio/agosto/settembre ma ad Aprile mi lascia pensare...... Abbiamo provato la nuova brioche con le gocce di cioccolato ed e' risultata deludente perché indurita..... Lo scorso anno le vostre dipendenti provvedevano a scaldarle invece stasera niente anzi la ragazza che ci ha serviti sembrava infastidita dalla nostra presenza facendoci notare alle 19:40 che alle 20:00 vi era la chiusura quindi praticamente di sbrigarci nel consumare...... E mi soffermerei proprio sulla professionalità perché risultare indisponenti non e' un grande segnale...... Detto cio' a chiusura della scorsa stagione avevamo provato il punto di Mondello ed eravamo rimasti delusi anche più o meno per le stesse motivazioni riferendoci alla qualità dei prodotti cosa che e' stata confermata purtroppo pure nel punto in questione e mi spiace dire che ormai sembrate un punto turistico come molti altri in zona e se nella scorsa stagione non ci facevate rimpiangere le vere granite messinesi non posso dire altrettanto...... Due granite e due brioches €12,50 mi sembra un po' esagerato per i palermitani ma sicuramente va bene per i turisti...... Come dice un noto...
