As an avid foodie, especially sweet treats, I aimed to try as many of "the best" baked goods and such on a recent trip to Palermo. I came by Pasticceria Cappello twice during my stay. On the first occasion, I was not acknowledged upon my entry and pondering. When I eventually said I would like to take some bits away, I was essentially ignored while others who had entered were attended to. I left, shocked at such treatment. I decided to give the Pasticceria the benefit of the doubt, returning the next day. This time I was again ignored, and quite rudely looked at. When I again asked to take some bits away, I was treated with such animosity and ignorance I was disgusted. I told the staff to not bother and walked out again. Regardless of the quality of your products, customer service is paramount. If you cannot provide this, and are in fact completely rude, custom should not be received at all - and was not by me in this instance. I took my custom and money elsewhere, where I was treated with the kindness and respect customers should be given. Please sort this issue out.
