I have experienced Lele twice so far. The first time as take away. We had vouchers and thought we‘d check it out as we had planned to visit LeLe anyhow.
Sadly, the vouchers weren’t entirely or at all applicable for reasons I can’t recall, but since this typically happens with restaurant vouchers anywhere in the world - seems to be a legitimate practice in gastronomy - I couldn’t be bothered. We were anyhow accommodated for our take away which did take a bit longer as we dropped by during peak hour on a Friday night.
We ordered a beer while waiting, which we were generously not charged for. The take away came straight from the kitchen and was still boiling hot when reaching our hostel with a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The only criticism I have at this point is that they did generously fill the take away dishes, but also made sure to get rid off their leftovers of the daytime menu in that way. Not saying it wasn‘t tasty or spoilt, but simply too much and difficult to eat as it was a large bone with some chunks of meat on it, which sadly we ended up having to dispose off.
Nevertheless, we dropped by a few days later and were seated in the beautiful winter garden area (if that’s correct). Food was great - but as usual too much - , wine and drinks blended well with the meals. Great dessert, very polite and attentive waiters and prices - despite the name implying - slightly steep but not overboard, given ambiance, quality of product and service.
Btw, I hope the door lock in the men‘s restroom has been fixed in the meantime? I was quite a challenge to get out and May cause panic for some ☺️
Anyway, I will be happy to come again soon and hope to have yet another positive...

The staff is polite and even if we were a group of around 40 animated people, they never complained or missed in anything. Cons: the menu was a bit out of season (too hot and heavy for summer), but it may depends from the choice of the host...

I fritti duri e davvero intrisi nell'olio.
