Borgomarino cucina di mare — Restaurant in Pescara

Pavlo and team are incredible! We were recommended this week old restaurant by our airbnb host and she man was she correct! We decided to drop by on Sunday morning to see what hours they were open as google didn't say and we ran into Pavlo who said to come back at 1pm as they are not open for dinner on Sundays. We showed up at 12:55 and were the first there, which was great. He was so kind and patient as our italian is not that great and his English is better. We decided to just let him choose what we eat as he was so passionate about it and that was the way to go for sure. After choosing a bottle of local Abruzzo wine, Pecorino (who knew it wasn't just cheese?) He proceeded to bring out what has to be one of the best meals of our lives! It spaned about 2 hours start to finish so don't be in a hurry, it's a food of love thing. In the meantime the entire restaurant filled up amazingly fast, even his family was there and he introduced us to his wife and sons, we felt like part of the family. The photos don't do this place justice, all of the food was incredible and we are foodies with a pretty high bar for quality and they exceed it by miles, or kilometers if you will. Once we were so full we couldn't breath he brought us dessert, which was light and amazing and again his choice, which is impeccable. After 2 bottles of wine and more food then I thought I could eat, while paying the bill, he would not let us leave without a few shots of Amaro. This won't be the cheapest meal you can get in Pescara, but it will be the best! Get off the tourist beach walkway and try something amazing, I dare you! Absolutely 100% worth it, I can't say enough about this place. If I could give it 10 stars I would, Michelin needs to pay a visit...

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The freshness of the ingredients was immediately noticeable, every dish tasted like it had just come straight from the market. The seafood, in particular, was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. You can really tell they take pride in quality.

The service was equally impressive, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing.

Even with such high quality, the prices were surprisingly reasonable, offering great value for the meal we enjoyed. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, we tried the gelato – WOW. Hands down, some of the best gelato I’ve ever had.
