Iona seafood pub — Restaurant in Peschiera del Garda

Apparently they were fully booked but the place was empty. But I would advise anyone to avoid this place. As I can see from your fast reply to my comments you really have a lot of time on your hands. Maybe you should concerned yourself with running a good restaurant which this is not. With a owner that likes to reply to ever bad review he get it's not a good look pal get a life.

Well since this pathetic little human like to keep replying, let's state the facts: my wife & child and I visted this place. We were the 1st people there, The waitress was going to seat my wife and child until she saw me with them. Then suddenly there were fully booked the waitress proceeded to show us a reservation book that had 6 or so reservation in it. So we went somewhere more welcoming. So I left a review that showed how I was treated nowhere in my review did I mentioned those words. But it seems you have a guilty conscience. I state again this place is not warm or welcoming. The owner seems to like to threaten people for leaving honest reviews which makes you a very small insignificant person,Who should get out of the hospitality...

We had the good surprise of stumbling upon this calm and cozy place after a bath at the dog beach in Lake Guarda.

We were lucky many of TripAdvisor’s recommendations were closed for this Sunday’s lunch, which brought us to the succulent fine dishes served at Iona’s Seafood Pub.

Quite a number of international beers are on the menu. I think I finally befriended an I. P. A. !

The french fries are just wow! I had an Angus burger which didn’t disappoint me at all. My wife took the tacos duo which displayed such finesse👌🏽

Our Asperger ordered fish and chips and was totally pleased with it (he can be quite to please food wise). Our daughter had the EBI burger and found it very tasteful too.

Although the kitchen was supposed to be closed, after arriving so late, we ended with cheesecake and chocolate cake. Both were perfect.

Overpriced food, very small portions and really bad service. We were left hungry even though we got 2 mains and an appetizer. We had the grilled seafood platter with vegetables but there were 2 slices of pepper and potato on the plate along with some very underwhelming seafood - lacked flavour and it all just tasted like olive oil. We went because of so many great comments but were really disappointed. Update: very unprofessional and rude owner as well apparently.

I think you’re getting too hung up on my small comment about the food being overpriced, I suggest you review some of the other stuff I said - it might actually help your business instead of attacking me - which honestly proves more and more how right I was with my comment. Looking forward to...
