Ristorante Pizzeria La Cometa Azzurra — Restaurant in Peschiera del Garda

We really enjoyed our meal at La Cometta. The service was friendly and efficient. The meals were fresh, homemade and delicious. I had the seafood pasta from the specials menu. The sauce was delicious, it was packed with seafood and was a very generous portion size. The tiramisu was creamy and delicious, you could tell it was homemade. The rest of the family ordered calzone, pizza, pasta bolognese and pasta carbonara and all were very tasty. Compared to restaurants in Peschiera centre, everything was very reasonably priced. What a beautiful friendly restaurant, very attentive staff , spacious eating area, very clean toilets and kitchens , English isn't brilliant but better than my Italian . We ate out a lot during our two weeks but so wished we found this first, for 2 starters , 2 large pizza's, 1 litre of house white ( which was really lovely) and a beer for €40 or £35 ish cracking value . I will recommend this place for the pasta and pizza. The dessert however bring it down by one star. Only a few are home made. Pasta however seemed to be home made and the sauce and see food was realy good. The pizza had a thin crunchy crust and was just an explosion in taste.
