Ristorante Pizzeria Sosta e Gusta — Restaurant in Peschiera del Garda

This was our first meal in Peschiera del garda and we had bad experience. We lived near by and this restaurant seemed good on good map. We are a family of five and after we waited for 30 mins we got one dish which is a pizza for one person. We understand it was rush hour so we waited patiently. After the first dish was served we waited another 40 mins for the rest of the dishes( not everything) , at this point one of our families already finished his meal so he could only waited us for about 50mins for our food to be served . Meanwhile when I checked the tables around, even people came after us got their meals. We asked the server , and the only answer we got was it not his problem, it’s kitchen’s problem . The food was mid, you can get the same or even better taste anywhere . When we went to pay another server talked to us and showed sorry , asked us if we would like some drinks on the house, that was really sweet but two of our families already went home and we were also not in the mood anymore. I never left bad reviews on restaurants, I understand how busy rush hours can be because i also been a server in Europe during summer break. But the first server we got , didn’t care our experience at all( is it because our race? Our skin color? We will never know) Appreciate the server in the end that try to fix our experience, he...

We were four non-Italians visiting this restaurant while passing through the region!

As soon as we arrived, a staff member attended to us and showed some reluctance about letting us dine inside because they were closing in an hour. We eventually settled inside.

We ordered two lasagnas, a pizza, and a spaghetti dish with clams.

The same staff member (bald and wearing glasses) always served us with a bad attitude and even rolled his eyes at me when I asked for the dessert menu.

The person who ate the pasta started feeling unwell as soon as we left the restaurant and has vomited at least five times so far.

The pizza and lasagnas were ok. The pasta was quite salty.....

We ended up not ordering dessert due to the staff member’s attitude!

We wouldn’t return even if we lived...

Absolutely amazing place, we came here for our first and last dinner in Peschiera del Garda and both times were great. The food is amazing, very delicious, prices are very good, service is very good too. We were with kids and waitresses were always chatting and entertaining our one year old who loved all the attention. The complimentary ice cream and limoncello were cheery on top and we hope to come back here in the future.

A few other things:

they have high chairs and baby changing facilities so very family friendly they have kids menu: pasta, nuggets, meat ball with chips our toddler is gluten intolerant so they prepared baby pasta gluten free and did not charge extra for it
