The best restaurant in Polignano a Mare for sure!!!
We were delighted to take dinner twice at this wonderful place. The restaurant is a family business, where Daniela, the daughter of the owner is welcoming you with a warm smile and is making sure you have what you need for a lovely experience. Cosimo (not sure if I spelled his name correctly), the owner of the restaurant, is such a lovely soul, always eager to help you in choosing the best meat for your taste, he is also one of the chefs! The restaurant is a cozy place, making you feel like you are welcomed by their family, such a modern style yet so simple.
The food is simply extraordinary, it is cooked very carefully and with an explosion of flavors. They have a huge variety of fresh meat that can be seen by anyone, you can also see how the meat is prepared and cooked. A 100% worth experience.
We went twice to take dinner there and the food was just perfect. The waiters make you feel like you are in a Michelin-star restaurant.
If we ever visit Polignano a mare, we will come to visit them for sure again!

Read moreThe friendly welcome my wife & I received when we arrived at Pruna only fifteen minutes before the restaurant was closing for Siesta on a Saturday afternnon set the scene for a most enjoyable late lunch.
The two waitresses who served us were friendly, and didn't mind the fact we only wanted to share two dishes between us.
The Strascinate Di Grano Orso with aubergine cream, tomato sauce, rocket pesto, with tarallo crumble, was exquisite; light, healthy, and full of flavour.
The sliced chicken, though a plain dish, was cooked to perfection.
It wasn't until the next morning, when I let our our B&B host Gaetano know about how wonderfully enjoyable my wife's & my lunch was at Pruna, and he then told us the restaurant is renowned for its high quality beef, that I had "food envy", wishing my wife & I had ordered the beef with rocket, tomatoes, and parmesean instead of the chicken.
We are already planning a return trip to Puglia in 2026, and Pruna in Polignano a Mare will be the first restaurant we dine in upon our return this beautiful part...
