Stupenda caletta di mare costituita da ciottoli bianchi e acqua verde - azzurra cristallina. Puoi tuffarti e con poche bracciate arrivare ad alcune delle grotte naturali tipiche di Polignano a Mare. Si trova nel centro del paese, a due passi di distanza dal Centro Storico. La spiaggia è chiamata: "Spiaggia Cala Porto" o "Spiaggia Lama Monachile", dal nome del ponte che bisogna attraversare per raggiungerla. Il ponte Lama Monachile di Polignano a Mare corrisponde all'antica Via Traiana, tuttora percorribile, dal quale si può ammirare uno degli scorci piú attraenti di Polignano a Mare. Bisogna attraversare un tratto di scale in discesa per raggiungerla.
