Ninì in Centro - Ristorante — Restaurant in Pompei

We stumbled across this place walking the street and found the menu interesting with a great little vibe so decided to give it a go. It was so good we ate here twice. This was the best food we have had in Italy. The meals are smaller and bursting with sophisticated flavour. Here you will get to enjoy the traditional Italian meals with a modern twist. Christian was our waiter both times and recommended great wine matches, educated us on how they eat in Napli (coffee after food 😉), adapted the menu for me being vegetarian so I could have a wider selection and gave us books to mull over while we waited for food. We particularly liked the book of questions and recommend you ask for this one. We got to learn about the history of the building and see a photo from when it use to be a shop (still owned by this family today!). Definitely ask about this as well. This is a MUST if your in Pompei and enjoy refined food at a really reasonable price tag! The staff know what they are talking about so ask for Recommendations and let them take care of you. Now if only we could convince them to open up in New Zealand! Thank you for such a lovely dinning experience. Keep it up guys!...

Very good restaurant in the centre of Pompeï. Very good price-quality, local products and not at all touristic. Nice and modern interior. Service was very good and helpfull. Food was really delicious: -we ate the antipasta of the chef: small soup with patatoes and courgettes, bruschetta with ricotta, citrus and ansjovis, fried and filled pasta with ricotta and prosciuttu with a detail of pistaccio - as maindish: daughter had a basic spaghetti al ragu, which was nice, we had octopus with patatoe stew, salt biscuits and pistaccio and fish with a crust with sage with humus. As a dessert we ate a delicious Baba au rhum and tiramisu, they we're good prepared as well. We drunk a bottle of local white wine(16€), which was also very tastefull, 2 bottles of water and a soda. Total price 109€. We found it very worth the money because you get good, local food and quality with a modern twist and a good service! We are here in the city still another 3 days and we consider to go there another time...

If by any chance you go by this place I reccommend you to stop. The ambient is amazing the wine is great and the food itself is like heaven on a plate. Simple dishes with high quality ingredients that just explode in your mouth with flavour. But the best thing about the evening is for me the waiters who served us that night. Very atentive very kind and so observant to every need you have. They care so much for small details that just made our evening fantastic. I gotta say Christian and Theresa you out did yourself with service, hospitality and care that you presented for us. You made our evening the best we had in Pompeii. PS: The prices are remarkably low. For three glasses of wine, two appetizers, two main dishes and two coffee we paid only 80 euros. Highest reccommendation I can give. 10 stars...
