The place is lovely and has great views. The drinks were nice, although more on the expensive side as you would expect in a place like this.

The service however was one of the worst I've experienced and unfortunately only came from one person. As soon as we were seated we were quickly told it was a minimum spend of €25 per person, which I can say as a person who has visited 100s if not 1000s of bars, I have never experienced and found it quite bizarre.

We ordered our first drinks that were really nice, however trying to get a second drink was impossible. There were 5 staff at one point standing around chatting to each other. When we spotted the young woman who Initially served us we asked politely if we could order more drinks (we'd be waiting 10 minutes at this point). She ignored us at first then after asking a second time she gestured rudely for us to wait and continued walking away from us. We left at this point.

Following a lovely meal at a local restaurant we decided to end our trip in Pompeii with some drinks overlooking the city which was beautiful. Sadly, the staff were not attentive at all and after waiting for more than 10 minutes with empty glasses (as 5 staff members stood around the bar) we asked politely to order drinks, the female waitress blanked us and when I asked again she put her hand up to our face and turned away to serve a table of male Italian customers. We had intended to stay for many more drinks given the chance but by this point I was so disgusted I wanted to leave - I spoke to the manager who wasn’t interested in my complaint whatsoever. Sono cresciuta a Pompei, ma son anni che vivo fuori.. volevo far scoprire al mio compagno qualcosa di carino a Pompei ma anche qui una delusione. Arriviamo di giovedì alle 9 di sera, le ragazze immagine che affiancano la sécurity ci fanno capire che su c’è zero posto guardando che avevamo un bimbo.. precisiamo che vogliamo bere un bicchiere e andare via, una cosa veramente da 30 minuti.. cambiano faccia e ci fanno salire molto gentilmente. Arrivando su ci accorgiamo che ci sarà una serata.. in quanto rivedo un volto conosciuto.. un Pr che si occupa di serate zona Napoli.. (non faccio commenti sulla clientela che porta). Tutto ci ha fatto sentire fuori luogo, in quanto sembrasse una serata per escort e clienti). Ma per fortuna c’era qualcun altro con un bimbo come il nostro. Arriviamo al dunque, ci accomodano vicino alla barriera che da sulla vista palazzine via Nolana.. primo tavolino vicino al bar. Da subito ci accorgiamo di un odore di pesce avariato o un animaletto deceduto.. cercando la fonte di ciò ci accorgiamo di essere seduti sullo scolo dell’acqua piovana, pieno d’acqua stagnante che émane uno sgradevole odore e nido di zanzare. Essendo li solo per un bicchiere non facciamo polemiche in quanto ci hanno già fatto un piacere lasciandoci salire. I prezzi dei cocktail son eccessivi per la quantità e la qualità. Ci servono ciotoline minuscole con tarallini e olive.. poi arrivano i cocktail. Grandissima delusione nel vedere un bicchiere a 20€ con una quantità pari alla ciotoline delle olive. E l’altro pieno di ghiaccio e senza sapore. Beviamo i due in un sorso e decidiamo di scappare in quanto la musica diventa insopportabile per poter discutere, accompagnato dal fatto che lo staff inizia a correre creando un via vai stressante. Si occupavano dei preparativi della serata immagino. forse sarebbe più carino venire quando non c’è serata, ma l’accoglienza giù dovrebbe almeno avvisare che c’è ne sarà una. Visibilmente le ragazze immagine lavorano per il pr e quindi non si preoccupano molto dei clienti. Consiglio di passare la serata al giardino piano terra, che sembra molto più rilassante...
