Yes the view wonderful and the staff are very pleasant and professional, but putting that to one side I was very disappointed in the food. I ordered fish, so they then come to you, with the fish available on a large plate, you choose what you fish you want and they say we will come back with the price!! Based upon the price given, the fish I chose, would of weighed approximately 9 kilograms!! To me it would of weighed probably about half that weight, but I was not going to argue about this in front of my partner! So the fish arrived nicely cooked and I should add I like my fish hot, not warm! Anyway I was amazed to see how the flesh is all expertly dismembered from the bones and skin removed, (I like the skin!) and put into two plates, eventually the plate of fish is put in front of me and my partner, but at this stage it’s only just warm, nearly cold. - how disappointing! It was not that nice and not worth the money. Look I don’t mind paying if I getting value for my money!!) And also paying €2.50 each for the bread was over the top!! So would I go back, I don’t think so!! Or if I did, definitely not to eat!! And if you want to see the wonderful views go to the beautiful Church further up the hill, and go swimming on the other side of the peninsular,...
Read moreTorri di Venere is truly a gem. Perched on the hillside in front of the Loggia Romanica, it offers not only breathtaking views but also the chance to enjoy a swim in the lagoon — honestly, I wish I could live here. It’s one of the most stunningly beautiful places I’ve ever visited.
The restaurant itself is run with remarkable dedication. The owner clearly takes pride in offering exceptional service and cuisine, and it shows in every detail. Yes, the meal is expensive, but absolutely worth every cent.
Adding to the charm is the family of seagulls that have lived here for over ten years. They gently glide by to say hello without intruding, keeping the pigeons away and creating a sense of harmony with both the restaurant and its guests.
The combination of food, atmosphere, and service easily deserves 10 stars if that were possible. Torri di Venere isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience. Perfect for special occasions and big events like weddings, or simply for anyone who wants to feel a touch of magic.
We loved every moment here and will definitely be...
Read moreAlright, so here’s that dude on the internet that goes on and on again. So let’s get this one started. What you pay for here is the experience and the view cause let’s face it, there are many better places to eat for a fraction of the price. The Lobster Linguini was 4 out of 5 or an alright in my words, but 45 euros worth? Nope! The Pesto Trofie was okay, 3 out of 5 or a meh in my world. For 10 euros, you get a better pesto salad in town that will hit the spot and not your wallet. Let’s face it, it’s a been there, done that, got the t-shirt type of place, but you don’t come twice. Instead, you do like I do, you leave, head back down to the boardwalk, get a table at one of the local joints and listen to live music while enjoying the real Italian food. You won’t remember the name of the place in the morning, but you’ll remember this, you don’t need to spend loads of money to eat good. Locals can cook just as good and in most cases better than the...
