B&J pub pizzeria — Restaurant in Ragusa

Tired of pasta and looking for pizza we came upon this place. The look inside was so unique with the exposed stone arch ceiling. The staff were supper friendly, especially our waitress Alessia! Her English is very good and she was supper sweet and helpful. We each got our own “adult” size pizza and they were amazing!!!! None of us had any red sauce on it. I just wonder because we are coming from America, what we know as pizza is not correct and we just have lower standards? Cus the 3 we had were delicious and different!!! And the crust was so good! we went to b&j for pizza while on vacation in Ragusa. the pizza was delicious- especially the crust which is the best in the world since the grain used is local. i'd say one of the best pizzas i've ever eaten. my family speaks italian so we ordered food in italian, but we don't understand everything so the waitress was very kind and explained different dishes on the menu in english. try their specialty- rolled pizza. the desert roll w/nutella was incredible and a great dish to share after our meal. price is so affordable. wine was also delicious. i highly recommend this restaurant if you...

Top spot just off a main street. Loved the simplicity of the pizza here where crust and toppings were as close to perfect as I've had. For people who love American style pizza - DON'T COME HERE. If you love real authentic pizza however, this is your place. Great staff who were kind and attentive to our Aussie family who have ZERO Italian in their vocabulary.
