Worst experience in Sicily. We arrived for our reservation at 9:15 PM, waited 15 minutes outside before being seated, and they finally took our order at 9:40 PM. By 10:50 PM, we had only received one plate of bruschettas !!!! When we sat down, the inside was empty, yet people who arrived after us were already enjoying dessert, while we were still waiting. We asked several times about our food, and all we got were lame excuses: "It’s coming in 5 minutes", repeated endlessly. We had waited so long that the waitress came to ask if we wanted dessert… even though we still hadn’t received our main dishes. They clearly couldn’t care less about tourists. 30 minutes for one bruschetta, then another 40 minutes for two bland, tasteless, and basic pasta dishes. And the cherry on top? Insects casually wandering around our table. The staff is disorganized, the service is painfully slow, and the attitude is borderline disrespectful. Absolutely disgraceful. Never again. Avoid this place...
Read moreWe had a wonderful experience at this charming restaurant in Ragusa Ibla! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They went out of their way to make sure we felt at home, and their warmth made our meal even more enjoyable.
I was especially impressed with how family-friendly the atmosphere was. They were so attentive to our kids, offering a great selection of dishes that catered to their tastes as well. It’s not always easy to find a place where both adults and children can enjoy a meal, but this restaurant truly delivered.
The food was delicious, the ambiance was cozy, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Ragusa Ibla. We’ll definitely be back on...
Read moreExcellent service. The chicken with breaded almonds was delicious. It was beautifully cooked and not heavy. I would eat it everyday if I could. The side of baked potatoes with rosemary went well with the chicken. The cacio e pepe with Ragusan cheese was interesting. The cheese made it taste different to normal cacio e pepe in that it was a bit grainy in texture and under-seasoned in comparison. This is a creamier, heavier dish. The dishes are a little on the smaller side for the price so I would recommend ordering appetizers as well if you are hungry. We needed a taxi to return to upper Iblea (we did not want to climb all those stairs back!!!), and the waiter was so kind as to order us a taxi. He deserves a raise!...
