Lack of flavour, quality and care for customers. We ate at this place since it seemed one of the few open at the time. We were served the worst meal ever in Italy. The mixed salad was without any dressing and consisted of iceberg lettuce, cabbage, grated carrot and half a cut tomato - the kind that merely reminds you of water and does not smell like anything. The buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomato were equally disappointing. It is clear that this place is serving low quality food products and does not care about cuisine, taste, food culture or customers. When the waiter brought the bill he asked for the first and only time whether we were happy with our meal. We were honest and said that it was not what we expected and that it tasted very mediocre. He then acted confused and handed us the bill. No apology - instead he tried to "sell" us coffee or dessert. Italy is known for its high quality products and particularly when it comes to Ragusa we were told that the food was going to be amazing wherever we go. This place clearly only cares about the money from tourists not about cuisine or...
Read moreThis was a really pleasant surprise for a last-second lunch on a Saturday in Ragusa. We were escaping heavy rain, so we did not do much searching, just went to the first restaurant we could find open -- and we were not disappointed!

Everything was excellent and, not to go on and on about the fries but can't help it -- the fries were among the best we've ever had, giving the Brits and Germans a run for their money :)
Additionally we had a half liter of the house wine, priced at a shockingly low 5 Euro, which was also good.
We would definitely eat here again. Their pizza menu looked fantastic, but they do not serve pizza at lunchtime, so you'll have to try it and...
Read moreI dropped by here early around 6:30pm and they were not open until 7:30pm so I sat outside in a chair on the patio and read until they opened. The staff didn't mind and they just setup the outside tables for dinner around me.
They were even nice enough to take my order before they officially opened, I went for Tagliatelle Zucca e Ricotta (Tagliatelle with Pumpkin & Fresh Ricotta) which was only 7 euros which was a great deal!
My pasta dish was wonderful and the staff were really great I would recommend dropping by here for dinner if you...
