Caffè Roma Pizza&Cucina — Restaurant in Ragusa

As a tourist eating at the nearby Zencho sushi I was informed that I could use the bathroom at the nearby Roma cafe and that I shouldn't have a problem. However, upon arriving at the bar, the lady behind the bar rudely informed me that the bathroom was for customers only. I assumed I would take a water - but then she started inviting me to use the bathroom for free. I felt embarrassed by the lack of clear guidelines regarding using the bathroom - I would happily pay to use it if it said that it was for non-customers, but I refuse to be done a "special favor" - I find it rude. Please clarify the rules with the nearby restaurant and don't embarrass tourists by suggesting that they want to take advantage of your hospitality, because it's embarrassing. If you are a tourist, you should avoid this place. They rip you off to make extra money from you!

The food is very good BUT

We had: 01.50 Latte Macchiato 01.00 Espresso classico 01.50 Succo d‘arrancia 01.00 Brioche vuota 01.20 Cornetto al cioccolato 02.50 Granita cioccolato

To me the total cost comes to 08.70€ Yet they wanted 13.90€ and told us about a 20% service fee. This would be 1.74€ and not 5.20€ as they asked for.

This behaviour gives a bad reputation to the whole area. And apart from it I just hate this kind...

Klein und gemütlich. Genau das richtige um Vormittags seinen Espresso oder Cafe mit Cornetti zu genießen. Mir hat er extra Pistazien Creme noch gemacht und ein Cornetti zu füllen,weil ich es wollte. Das Angebot ist unterschiedlich und immer frisch. Lecker die kleinen Törtschen und Kekse. Die Kekse sind besser wie im "de la Rossa " Und es gibt sogar Marmorkuchen selbst gebacken wie in Deutschland. Alles schmeckt sehr lecker. Eben ein kleine gemütliche traditionelle Cafe Bar. Die Ecke draußen ist zwar klein aber an windigen Tagen sitzt man da auch gut,da es geschützter ist als anders wo. Wir sind immer dort,fast jeden Tag,wenn wir in Marina di Ragusa sind. Montag den 26.02.2018 Wir waren wieder da. Da es fast den ganzen Tag geregnet hat, sind wir Abends spät nochmal Richtung Piazza und Bar Roma war noch auf, dachten wir. Der Besitzer hatte eingedeckt für ein paar Freunde. Lecker Spezialitäten. Typisch italienisch. Anstatt uns weg zu schicken,durften wir uns setzen und noch was trinken und rauswerfen gab's danach auch nicht. Probieren war angesagt. Vom Spanferkel und auch vom Dessert. Ich hab noch nie so leckere Profitterols gegessen. Das ist ein Familien Rezept, hat er uns erklärt. Es gab die mit Schoko Sosse und noch zur Krönung mit Limonen Sosse....Hammer.....gut das es geregnet hat. Ich liebe diese Bar. Klein und gemütlich...
