This place is worth the little extra walk outside of the main street. We happen upon it randomly while doing a walk through the garden. One look at the menu and you can see that they are attempting to make elevated dishes at very reasonable prices - all in a historic dining setting. We had an exceptional dinner for a great price. The welcome dish from the chef was great. The bread basket was the most variety we've seen through our whole trip. The risotto my wife had was spot on. My seafood pasta with zucchini was lovely. The house wine by the glass was 5 euro and was very enjoyable. The staff was attentive and professional. All in all, we had a memorable meal. If you are a foodie like us, check this place out! I hope they are able to advertise more at the garden entrance or in the middle of the town. I think they are doing the best meals in...
Read moreArrived on Valentine’s Day to have a late lunch at this restaurant. No tables were ready so they had to set one up for us. It took forever to do so and it wasn’t until after our appetizer was served that we received our cutlery and we had to ask. The meal was enjoyable but the service was very slow. We ordered water and wine which took forever to arrive at the table. Read moreWalked in here because we were curious to see what the place was like. We were happily welcomed and the friendly staff showed us the place and told the history of it. The food is amazing and very well priced. I highly recommend to try the 5 course menu. The dishes are typical for the place and very tasty. The service was adequate and timing great. The friendly chef also came out to say hello and we thanked him for the lovely meal! A great compliment for the staff who welcomed us in and showed us the place and the ones who further took care of us that...
