Arianna al Borghetto — Restaurant in Rome

After touring the ruins of Ostia Antica, my friends and I decided to try a local restaurant before heading back to Rome. The service was impeccable, the staff was super friendly, and the owner spoke perfect English! They were so happy to serve us despite being tourists/students studying abroad.

I knew I was going to enjoy our service when the owner jokingly told my friend that “Moscato isn’t wine”!

I recently ate at this restaurant with my partner and it was absolutely fantastic! The restaurant is situated in an historic part of town, near an old castle and church.

The atmosphere here was wonderful as was the rich history which was exhibited around the interior restaurant including original stone exposures and frescoes. Overall, there was a very welcoming feel and the service provided to us was faultless.

The food we ate was absolutely delicious! We tried various pastas, grilled sausages, meatballs and the tiramisu. Each were perfect!

We have just eaten in this fantastic restaurant. This is a little gem in a location which is truly heavenly and unspoilt. The food was amazing 100%. The owner was a true gentleman and a lovely genuine man. We were even lucky to listen to some Italians playing the guitar 🎸 and singing.. I have left the restaurant with a happy feeling.. If I lived in Italy I would dine here every weekend.. Shame London is calling me back home 😔 .. I will definitely be coming back soon to this restaurant. Thank you 😁...
