I recently ate at this restaurant with my partner and it was absolutely fantastic! The restaurant is situated in an historic part of town, near an old castle and church. The atmosphere here was wonderful as was the rich history which was exhibited around the interior restaurant including original stone exposures and frescoes. Overall, there was a very welcoming feel and the service provided to us was faultless. The food we ate was absolutely delicious! We tried various pastas, grilled sausages, meatballs and the tiramisu. Each were perfect! I would highly recommend eating here!

A super friendly and kind team welcomed us here. We hadn't booked but we got lucky and were offered a table outside (it was only February but so warm). We shared a starter that was as colourful as the street we were sitting in and delicious. Amazing pastas and homemade tarts, I don't have a sweet tooth but the apple, cinnamon and walnut tart was amazing. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Btw, everyone spoke English and were happy to help with our choices.

Locale molto carino nel borgo di Ostia Antica con cucina tipica romana. Ci siamo andati in 12 e tutti siamo rimasti soddisfatti del nostro pranzo. Il personale è attento, veloce e simpatico (senza essere invadente). Abbiamo apprezzato molto il fatto di prendere le ordinazioni dei secondi non appena siano arrivati i primi, questo in effetti permette di non aspettare tantissimo tra le portate, che comunque sono arrivate con i giusti tempi e soprattutto....tutte insieme! Abbiamo iniziato con l'antipasto misto...molto buono. Anche i primi tutti buonissimi, in particolare i miei tonnarelli con crema di carciofi, guanciale e pecorino.....il top!...tornerei solo x quella!!! Molto apprezzati anche la carbonara, le fettuccine al ragù di cinghiale, la coratella, i saltimbocca e le polpette al sugo. Buoni anche i dolci...torta della nonna e torta con ricotta e visciole fatte in casa. Noi ci torneremo sicuramente!.. Che dire....assolutamente consigliato!!!

This was the most charming restaurant, with the best service that I have gotten from 4 different trips to Italy and traveling all over the country. The food was wonderful and those serving customers were wonderfully genuine- it was definitely worth the trip outside of the hustle and bustle of the busy Rome area.

Recommended. Wonderful family restaurant located just off the courtyard of the castle, tucked into an alleyway rich with atmosphere and ambiance. Antonio greets and seats people like they are family, and the food is fabulous. I had spaghetti and clams as my only plate and enjoyed it completely.

Easy 5 stars. Top 5 pas for the price i had in Italy. Carbonara was 11 euros and tartufo pasta only 12 euros. 0.5 jar of house wine is only 6 euros and quite worth it. The vibe is right on, next to the castle and owner is super attentive. A must if you visit ostia antica or the castle
