Bacetto Bistrot — Restaurant in Rome

We came here after our visit to St. Paul's Basilica, and it's such a gem!

The owner is so kind and friendly, and the app made it easy to view the menu in different languages and star the ones we'd be ordering.

We had grilled octopus, spicy chicken wings, 30-day aged sliced beef, carbonara, and ravioli. We loved every bite. The sliced beef was juicy and tender, the octopus and lemon sauce went so well together, and the pastas were amazing!

After reading the reviews, we had to finish off with the tiramisu, and it did not disappoint.

It was also so enjoyable to sit on the patio on a sunny afternoon with a gentle breeze next to the green walkway.

Comer en este restaurante es uno de los placeres más grandes que se pueden tener en la vida. La calidad de los productos, el sabor, el servicio… todo es excepcional, único, increíble y verdaderamente apreciable. El señor y la señora que atienden te hacen sentir como si estuvieras comiendo en casa de tus abuelos italianos. La energía que transmiten, su entrega y su maravillosa personalidad los hacen merecedores de nada menos que 5 estrellas. No venir aquí es como no venir a Italia.

La qualità dei prodotti, il sapore, il servizio… tutto è eccezionale, unico, incredibile e davvero apprezzabile. Il signore e la signora che gestiscono il locale ti fanno sentire come se stessi mangiando a casa dei tuoi nonni italiani. L’energia che trasmettono, la dedizione e la loro splendida personalità li rendono degni di niente di meno che 5 stelle. Non venire qui è come non venire in Italia.

English: Dining at this restaurant is one of the greatest pleasures life can offer. The quality of the ingredients, the flavor, the service — everything is exceptional, unique, incredible, and truly appreciated. The lovely couple who run the place make you feel as if you’re dining at your Italian grandparents’ home. Their energy, dedication, and beautiful personalities make them more than worthy of a 5-star rating. Not coming here is like not coming to Italy.

No problems. None. Perfect place for lunch or dinner, lots of options, consistently fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. Came 30 minutes prior to closing, but the gentleman behind the counter sat us, served us, and we were able to enjoy a marvellous meal consisting of their ravioli, steak, and fettuccine. Everything was on point, the meat was so savoury and the truffle/mushroom ravioli had all the right touches of flavour in addition to the pasta being cooked to the perfect point. Cannot stress enough how awesome the service is here, they made us so at home. Simply lovely; do come...
