Bakery M — Restaurant in Rome

As an American tourist who doesn’t speak Italian, I’m always very self-conscious about going into a business and fumbling to order, but the staff was very accommodating and put me at ease.

The food is PHENOMENAL and so reasonably priced! I got 4 different freshly baked items for €4.20. One was a sausage wrapped in bread. Another was a bread twist with prosciutto and mozzarella. Another was a thin strip of bread with chocolate chips in the middle (absolutely delicious). And the last and BEST one was a little triangle of bread filled with vegetables (tomatoes, onions, zucchini, eggplant) and cheese. I could’ve eaten a dozen of them!

So yeah, I HIGHLY recommend this place especially since a lot of Italian “bakeries” are really just patisseries that only sell sweet things. This had a great mix of...

CHIUDETE QUESTO PUNTO VENDITA! Sono stato allo stesso punto vendita ma in Viale Libia e ho trovato un personale gentilissimo e una varietà di prodotti da avere l’imbarazzo della scelta. Poi sono stato in questo punto vendita e ho trovato personale che non ti si fila di pezza, tra cui una dipendente “simpatica come un dito a sorpresa nel didietro”, non so se ho reso l’idea. In più c’era la miseria: quattro pizzette in croce e ovviamente me ne sono andato prendendo giusto un cornetto perché mi dispiaceva non prendere nulla. Ma avrei dovuto non prendere nulla! Se il servizio e l’offerta è questa, tanto vale chiudiate questo punto vendita. Oppure cambiate dipendenti!

Ero solita frequentare questo forno perché i prodotti erano veramente buoni, dalla pizza al pane ai dolci. Negli ultimi mesi ho rivalutato sia la qualità decisamente scesa ma anche il servizio. Personale scortese ti servono mentre chiacchierano tra di loro e non si capisce quando si rivolgono a te o no, toccano tutto con le mani, anche i soldi e poi i prodotti.
