Decore - Cucina Pizza Enoteca — Restaurant in Rome

Sorry I can’t remember our waiter’s name but I have a picture of him and he was working very hard, keeping everyone served and somehow staying sane and cheerful! We’d been in Pompeii all day and were very tired so had a few beers and then pizza capriccioso which seems to be the only type of pizza available anywhere with any meat on it (we now know pepperoni isn’t a sausage in Rome, it’s peppers, and that at this restaurant it’s the only vegetable that comes with the steak but we’ve not tried it yet and I digress…). I had the Chocolate Delight (cake, crumb, icecream) and my husband ate the tiniest creme caramel ever conceived, he was very disappointed, it was gone in 2 bites. We had a bottle of wine too. This out of the way restaurant was a lovely find! The waiter was super! We had not booked and we wanted to eat early so Pietro found us a table and got straight into the menu and we were served very quickly. Carbonara- huge portion, excellent Fritti - fresh, home made, very tasty Tagliata - to die for! The most tender I have eaten and really tasty. Ho scelto questo ristorante su Google in base alle recensioni positive. Se dovessi nascondere un locale da occhi indiscreti, lo collocherei esattamente nel luogo in cui si trova questo meraviglioso ristorante)))))) Venendoci la prima volta circa due anni fa sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso. In primo luogo hanno una cucina eccellente, in secondo luogo hanno un buon menu e una vasta scelta di vini e altre bevande, il che è sorprendente per un piccolo ristorante. In terzo luogo, il ristorante ha un personale cordiale che conosce bene il cibo e la varietà dei vini. Veniamo regolarmente a La Veranda e non siamo mai rimasti delusi. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a tutti. Prenotate i posti in anticipo perché è sempre pieno di quelli che amano mangiare bene). Выбрал этот ресторан в Google, опираясь на положительные отзывы. По другим признакам найти их очень сложно) Если бы мне нужно было скрыть какое нибудь заведение от посторонних глаз, то я бы расположил его именно в том месте, где находится этот прекрасный ресторан))) Посетив первый раз этот ресторан я был приятно удивлён. Во первых у них прекрасно готовят, во вторых у них хорошее меню и большая коллекция вин и других напитков, что было удивительно для небольшого ресторана. В третьих в этом ресторане любезный персонал, который разбирается в еде и многообразии своих вин. Посещаем La Veranda регулярно, около двух лет и не разу не были разочарованы. Всем очень рекомендую этот ресторан. Заказывайте места заранеее по телефону, потому что он всегда заполнен любителями...
