Erudito Gluten Free — Restaurant in Rome

I was SO EXCITED to find this totally gluten free restaurant in Rome. The food was delicious, the staff was super nice, and the menu was really expansive, with Mexican and American cuisines. My only regret was that I went on my last night in town and couldn’t order everything on the menu! I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town and highly recommend anyone with Celiac’s visit. We had an absolutely great time at Erudito! We came around the opening time, and started a really nice chat with the coeliac waitress and the chef. They recommended two burgers that turned out to be amazing. I especially recommend the monthly special, which was the delicious umami burger in our case. Sono stata col mio compagno sabato sera ed è stata una bellissima scoperta. Questo locale è aperto da anni ed è tutto senza glutine. Come ogni celiaco, ho chiesto più volte la conferma, non ci volevo credere. Abbiamo preso a cena due hamburger, anelli di cipolla fritti, nuggets e patatine. Che dire? Il pane lo fanno loro in casa ed è buonissimo… mentre lo mangiavo l’ho notato subito, leggero e morbido. I nuggets uno spettacolo! Fanno tutto artigianalmente e soprattutto sono gentilissimi e simpatici. Ho fatto una bella chiacchiera col personale ed anche coi proprietari ed ho trovato delle persone piacevoli, gentili e che mettono una grande passione nel loro lavoro, ancora dopo anni. Ho apprezzato molto la loro emotività e sincerità con me che ero cliente! Dopo cena ho preso una bomba finta fritta, fatta sempre col loro pane e versione nutella… è andata giù leggera e sto ancora pensando a quando posso tornare a prenderne un’altra. Ricordo bene il sapore di una bomba (ho scoperto la celiachia 12 anni fa) e mi mancano tantissimo certe cose… ce ne sono alcune che ancora non ho ritrovato uguali nella consistenza, ma questa finta bomba che fanno loro è pazzesca.
