The Garden Ristro is a treat. It's another restaurant that's on our must-go list every year that we're in Rome. I do recommend making reservations in advance and it's nice you can do that from the States. If you know you're going to be there, they take reservations online and they'll send you an online confirmation. The food is wonderful. The wine is great. The service is fantastic. Make sure you get a seat outside in the garden because that's the best place to be. Everything on their menu is great, but for dessert have the chocolate tortufo. Read moreWe stumbled on this restaurant by accident while getting desperate for lunch on the Appian Way and it ended up being the best meal I had on our whole honeymoon! There is a large outdoor area as well as indoors and as it was quiet when we went, the staff were attentive. I ordered a sea bass risotto which came presented as a dome of fish with the risotto underneath and tasted beautiful. So I left and took a chance on this place - so glad I did. Everything was delicious. The servers were professional, kind, & gave me suggestions on what to order. Best food I’ve had in Rome thus far.
