Le Bistrot — Restaurant in Rome

Abbiamo celebrato il nostro matrimonio intimo a Le Bistrot ed è stato tutto perfetto. Innanzitutto, il ristorante in questo periodo era chiuso per ferie ma Daniela e Barbara l'hanno aperto in quel giorno solo per noi. Poi, durante tutto il tempo precedente all'evento, ci siamo sentite più volte per definire il tutto: Barbara e Daniela sono state molto gentili con noi, hanno preso a cuore la nostra festa, hanno soddisfatto ogni nostro desiderio e hanno fatto del loro meglio per renderci felici. Ci hanno preparato un bel tavolo e tutto il cibo era buonissimo. Tutto era ben cucinato e con un sapore eccellente. Ma ciò che ha reso il nostro tempo speciale è stato avere con noi Daniela e Barbara che amano davvero il loro lavoro. La loro missione di proporre un cibo sano, sostenibile e vegano va oltre il business. Ecco il mio menù matrimonio: come antipasti, abbiamo preso, crocchette di broccoletti con salsa di fave, supplì al gondino e timballino di melanzane con crema al "formaggio". Sottolineo anche che quest'ultimo non fa parte del loro menù solito, ma lo desideravo e hanno soddisfatto la mia richiesta. Come primi, risotto rape rosso tartufato e lasagne alle zucchine. Come secondi, tortino di patate e pistacchi e crocchette di cannellini ai porcini. Prezzi onestissimi: sono sicura che la maggior parte dei ristoratori avrebbe applicato dei prezzi maggiori solo perché si trattava di un matrimonio. Invece, Daniela e Barbara si sono dimostrate autentiche anche in questo. Consiglierei Le Bistrot a tutti, per una bella serata o anche per celebrare i vostri eventi speciali! We celebrated our intimate wedding at Le Bistrot and all was perfect. Usually the restaurant remains closed during August but Daniela and Barbara opened it just for us that day. We got in touch several times for the organization of the event and the two owners were so nice with us: they really cared about our celebration and did their best to make us happy. They prepared a nice table and all the food was good. All was well-cooked and with an excellent taste. What made our time special was also having Daniela and Barbara with us, because their mission of proposing an healthy, sustainable, and vegan food goes beyond business. I would recommend Le Bistrot to everybody! Thank you very much again Daniela...

I had two incredible dinners at Le Bistrot. Daniela and Barbara are such lovely people and each of the courses was so flavourful. Honestly I am so thankful that there is a wholly vegan restaurant that I can order a well thought out 4 course meal. Their menu changed between my two visits and I went with much of their recommendations. The creativity they have in the dishes has me wanting to try and recreate a bit of the magic at home. The restaurant itself is very cute on the inside too and would make an excellent date night spot. It is worth taking the bus there and the bus stop is only a couple minute walk away. When I come back to Rome I will be sure to have dinner...

The best vegan meal we had on our Italian trip. One of the best vegan meals I have ever head. On top of that, the staff and owner are the sweetest people. They made you feel so welcome.

Further they were able to squeeze us in last minute on Valentine’s Day. I wish I could come here every day and get to know these lovely people.

I cannot say enough how good this food was. A must stop for any vegan in Rome, and even for non vegans. You will not be disappointed.

(Plus they had the most adorable dogs we got to meet at closing time. Such sweet girls!)
