Best ice cream in Rome hands down! Never trust anyone who says "la Romana" is the best they know nothing... Not exactly a prime location but could be paired to a visit at the zaha hadid designed MAXXI and the Renzo Piano designed auditorium....if you wish! If you're very lucky you may even catch a short glimpse of the famous contemporary philosopher "Dibba" who lives just around the corner!

Piccola gelateria con arredamento vintage. Il locale è composto da due vani: da una parte bancone e cassa, dall'altra una piccola zona relax dove poter gustare il gelato seduti. Come nelle migliori gelaterie, un numero limitato di gusti, soprattutto i grandi classici, ricercati negli ingredienti, con possibilità di gluten free. Siccome era la prima volta ho effettuato il mio solito test: pistacchio e cioccolato perché, se di scarsa qualità, tipicamente hanno un sapore dolciastro. In questo caso il pistacchio era quasi salato ed il cioccolato molto amaro: test superato. La crema era della giusta consistenza, il sapore squisito. Il cono è di cialda "buona", credo artigianale o comunque non del tipo giallastro al sapore di plastica prodotti industrialmente. Verrò sicuramente a provare altri gusti ma al momento balza in testa alle gelaterie di Roma.

The crazies that run this place have decided kids can now only get one and not two flavors. Why do you hate kids so much? Also, their remodel is super dangerous- check the photos. I’m sure someone will be seriously injured soon… just give it time.
