Pizzeria Da Marco — Restaurant in Rome

Looking for a good eatery near my hotel, and our choice is this place that seems to be frequented by the locals.

We ordered: Pasta al Pomodoro €7 Great pomodoro sauce with the right tanginess, but the rigatoni is too al dente for us.

Pizza Bianche Boscaiola Porcini €9 Great portion size with generous cheese and big chunks of porchini.

Tiramisu €5 Good thick tiramisu, just lacking a little bit more rum.

Le Chiacchiere Al Pomodoro €7.5 Chiacchiere is usually sweet with powdered sugar, but in this one the fried dough is showered with pomodoro sauce, and it's super good. Pomodoro sauce is definitely their forte, just the right tanginess from the tomato. Gobbling it up in no time.

Sono stato portato in questa pizzeria da amici che abitano in zona. Pizzeria Da Marco ma che sul conto ho visto che si chiama "O' Ciardin' E' Pulcinella". Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Il locale è pulito non particolarmente bello esteticamente ne molto curato ma comunque gradevole. Ho trovato buonissime gli antipasti e le chiacchiere, una pizza fritta condita semplice oppure pomodoro oppure piccante, veramente da 5 stelle. Le montanare molto buone male metto un gradino sotto le chiacchiere. Nella media i supplì, peraltro un po' cari rispetto ad altre pizzerie. Pizza molto buona, ben condita anche se non mi sembra la classica napoletana verace perché mi è sembrato che l'impasto fosse tipo di "pane" quindi un po' più morbido della classica pizza napoletana (la pizza di Napoli, non la napoletana che si mangia a Roma). La cucina presenta anche qualche piatto della cucina romana (carbonara, amatriciana) e anche altro come o'panuozzo, calzoni, filoni ripieni, altri tipi di fritti e qualche cosa di pesce per cui certamente tornerò per provare altro. Prezzi medio bassi. Parcheggio un po' difficoltoso anche se vicino c'è via Covelli dove ci sono dei posti o all'angolo con Via Prenestina. In sala ci sono anche dei televisori dove...

Authentisch italienisches Lokal, spezialisiert auf Pizza. Sehr freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service, sehr leckere Pizzen (fluffiger, weicher Teig mit dünnem Boden und durchweg frische, regionale Zutaten als Belag) super Hauswein und Kaffee und hervorragendes Preisleistungsverhältnis! Pizza zwischen 6,50 und 8€; Flasche Haus-Wein 0,75l für 6€, Flasche Wasser 2€, Espresso 1€. Sehr positiv ist, dass hier kein einziger Tourist war, nur Einheimische und daher auch die Karte nur auf Italienisch (kann man aber dank Übersetzer auf dem Handy gut lesen). Auch schöne Nachspeisen wie Kinderschokoladentorte. Die Atmosphäre war leider eher wie in einem Imbiss (ist aber ein Restaurant); die Räumlichkeiten waren gepflegt, allerdings eher zweckmäßig eingerichtet und wenig gemütlich mit Fernseher, wo gerade Fußball lief, recht hellhörig und kaum Deko, gemischte Bestuhlung teils aus Metallterrassenstühlen und teils aus Plastikstühlen, Wandfarbe angenehm warm, aber recht kahl.
