The chef is from Amatrice! A place renowned for its culinary excellence! This trattoria’s Carbonara is a triumph of authentic flavors perfectly layered - a masterpiece!

We also loved their “coratella” (lamb entrails) served in the shape of a sausage. Their Trippa (tripe) melted in our mouths. All these traditional Roman dishes are revisited just in their presentation leaving the flavor absolutely authentic!

We enjoyed the fun revisit of the deep fried “puntarelle” with a creamy anchovies & garlic dip. Normally puntarelle are served raw as a salad. Excellent appetizer to share.

Sorry, we did not make it to the desserts… only the kids did. At the speed they ate them, we can safely assume they were delicious. This trattoria has tables outdoor year round. It is located outside the center of Rome like most hidden...

The wait staff was amazing but didn't speak English well. One waiter did an AMAZING job trying until I said something in Spanish and saw his face of relief. The fried meatball was to die for! I've never had one like it. We also had the foccacia and that was pretty good. The cacio e pepe was delicious as was my husband's carbonara. Our dinner buddies had the rabbit dish and the fried veal ribs and since it was my first time having both, it was only ok for me since I don't know how to feel about it. Then we ordered the turamisu and cheesecake. My tiramisu was delicious but my friends didn't care too much for the cheesecake dish. It was rooftop seating so the view was simply phenomenal right at sunset. Overall,...

We ate here on our first night in Rome. The food was very tasty, so we left feeling full and satisfied. We had two kinds of pasta's, of which the linguine one was definitely our favorite. We also got some other meat and fish dishes, focaccia and some sweets at the end of our dinner. The staff and especially the waitress was very friendly. Unfortunately it wasn't possible for us to sit outside with the rooftop view and we had to sit inside, since we didn't make a reservation. Though the atmosphere inside was very nice and bright and the place looked clean.
