My husband and I ate here for the last night of our vacation and left very disappointed.

Everything started out well, we ordered the trio of suppli, which was delicious, and I ordered the fettuccine ragu and my husband ordered the carbonara.

Food came out a little slowly, but nothing too crazy. When our food came out, we were both overwhelmed by how salty our food was. The carbonara was basically inedible with the amount of salt that was in it. My husband (who loves salty food) genuinely could not eat it - it was overwhelmingly salty, every single bite. He eventually gave up trying to eat it because it was so salty, and we let our waitress know and she said that “carbonara is just like that”.

We’ve had carbonara many times, including in Rome just the night before, and it’s never been this salty. She offered no resolution - didn’t ask to remake it, didn’t ask if we wanted something else, didn’t even apologize. My husband gave up on eating it and over 75% of the plate was still there, and she still charged us for it and didn’t even mention it afterwards.

My fettuccine ragu was also INCREDIBLY salty, just ever so slightly less than the carbonara. The flavors were actually quite delicious, but the sheer amount of salt made it so difficult to eat.

I’d honestly recommend steering clear of this place. We’re thoroughly disappointed in the pastas and the lack of care or effort to resolve...

This place has been recommended to us and also we can see that it has quite a good review. So we decided to give it a go. The night started quite well, lovely ambience and attentive waiter, who we even shared something in common: his aunty leaves across from my place in London. All the attentiveness and interest on us died down after we made our order. We ordered two pizzas and a bottle of wine. Our pizzas took quite a while to arrive. Although the wine was amazing, unfortunately our pizzas were less than desirable: one pizza was missing ingredients and the other, after traveling around Italy and consuming many pizzas, we noted that they were a bit stingy on the toppings. That wasn’t all, we found a screw in our jug of tap water and, to add insult to injury, they have charged us for this water even though we told them and showed them the screw. We had to bring to their attention so at least they were aware of it. It has not been a good experience and I would not...

After a long day of being a tourist in Rome we ended up here. While all the locals around us were given a menu, we were simply told that 'there is an English menu on the website'. Good luck with that!

When visiting the website and looking over the English menu we noticed that most of the menu was not translated into English. We still had to ask one of the waiters what some things meant or were.

After finally ordering our pizza we decided to also order a bottle of wine. To make things not difficult we pointed the one we liked from the online wine list. I'm not sure what happened, but from pointing out a bottle of white wine we ended up with a bottle of red wine that was almost 30% more expensive.

The food was great and the staff was friendly, but it made no sense coming here as someone not...

Located in a residential neighbourhood away from the city center, prices were reasonable for generous portions of excellent pasta and pizza (the carbonara and amatriciana in particular, albeit slightly salty). We stayed at the nearby BnB which was a short walk away and were recommended by the front desk who was a local, but it is also accessible by bus 85 which passes by all the main attractions in the city center. The ambience is lovely for a quiet and cosy dinner at an authentic Italian restaurant. Service was great. The staff spoke English and the menu was available in various languages. After disappointing meals at restaurants near the tourist attractions in the city, we had all our meals here. This is my first and only review I’ve given - that’s how much I liked it.

DEE-liscious . What a wonderful little restaurant on a corner in the middle of no where (no disrespect for the locals that live there, but it is a dark street with zero traffic). However, the food is worth tracking this eatery down. I ordered the spaghetti carb..and my wife had the Devil's pizza. Service was also equivalent in excellence to the food. And the best part was the price was really affordable. Lowest price of any meal I ate while 10 days traveling around the azura.

Totale a testa 30€. Io tornerò sicuramente per provare la pizza (che tra l'altro i 2 pizzaioli instancabili sfornano a ripetizione anche per la consegna a domicilio). Decisamente consigliato!
