A very bad pasta experience. The restaurant staff and the atmosphere is great. Very prompt, attentive and friendly. Wine (Pinot Grigio) was excellent. But it was the worst pasta I have had in Italy. And one of the worst pastas I have had in general. Ordered Spaghetti aglio e olio with prawn tartar. Tartar was tiny but fine. Pasta is 0 out of 10 (or -1 if I could give it). It was over cooked, no salt or garlic at all, and literally tasteless. A basic home made pack from a grocery shop tastes better. I mentioned the issue to the waiter and he was very kind immediately offering to replace it. The plate was replaced but it was same just extremely over salty now. Still tasteless. Maybe the chef was having a tough day or did not have a chance to taste themselves. It was a shame cause it is the most basic pasta offered in Italy and above average price. To be fair, when the staff saw I did not touch the plate they asked if everything was ok and offered me complimentary coffee despite I did not have any further questions or complaints (I just left it cause it was too bad), and only asked for the bill. So the place is ok and the staff is great, but the food is not. Try another place around the corner. Half the prices and...
Read moreI bought this Biondi in this store. And ate some dishes and wines in here too. Really nice and fancy around the Castel romano. One of the staff(man) helped me to choose the wine for my hometown, South Korea. He explained very well, kindness and looks professional with wine. And I chose this Bdm which I’ve never seen before, just trusted him. I found that the price is not best considering the store located in outlet, but the wine is really wonderful and famous. And I can get tax-free service. Thank you for nice responding and...
Read moreAfter a busy day at the outlet mall, we decided to take a break and refresh ourselves at a charming restaurant. We started our meal with delicious Italian prosciutto crudo paired with cheese, mozzarella, and cherry tomatoes, accompanied by a serving of warm, freshly baked focaccia. The appetizers were perfectly complemented by a refreshing glass of rosé prosecco. And then we finished our meal with a very good espresso. The experience at the restaurant was truly enjoyable and a great way to relax after a day...
