Food was tasty, but it's very overpriced for the portion size and location. Worst feature is the service, one girl was fine, but our main waitress had a demeanor that she was doing us a huge favour, not that customer service is her job. No "please", no smile, no "thank you", no checking how our meal is going. Had to ask for menus after sitting down and waiting 10 minutes in an empty restaurant. We had to catch attention when we wanted something, nobody ever came over if we made eye contact and we were never checked on. At one point we wanted to order, so we caught the waitress as she was walking past and she didn't stop, she just said "arrivo" and kept walking and went and did whatever else. Really felt like customers are not a priority here. Furthermore, despite only 2-3 tables being occupied, we had to wait so long for one dish we thought they forgot about it. Only when we were tired of waiting and asked for the bill were we asked if we don't want the remaining dish. They brought out the other 3 as they were prepared, so I don't know why they would have been waiting to serve...
Read moreBeing a food critic that spent 15 years tasting various plates from all all over the world but mostly I concentrate on Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, American and Asian dishes. Let’s say I would not recommend this place as a true Thai place to eat. We were the first to arrive for lunch on a Saturday at 12:45pm we ordered the Chicken skewers and sushi starters as a main dish and chicken pad Thai. Sushi was average, the bowl of white rice seemed as if it was cooked yesterday and reheated because it was hard and old tasting. The chicken skewers were ok but not fresh tasting, they pre cooked it and heated it up on the grill.. And the pad Thai the taste was good but what ruined it was the three small pieces of FRIED chicken and the old tasting tofu chunks. Prices are too high in my opinion for the quantity given.
I went here over two years ago when they were opened on a Saturday and when they did serve these dishes! There is no need to give false information as someone wrote...
Read moreThis place is not the spot. It's charming, the service is ok, but if you're looking for authentic Thai food, keep looking. This is an Italian interpretation of Thai food geared for the Italian palate, saucy, sweet, and not at all spicy. It is the Thai equivalent of Italians eating canned pasta in America. The fried chicken wings were good but not at all spicy. The papaya salad came to the table wilted, soggy, and heaped with crushed peanuts. When we asked them to make it Thai hot, they had no idea how to respond and brought a few chopped peperoncinos (garnish) for us to sprinkle on our food. For the green curry, expect a sweet cream-based sauce with a dash of Sriracha, no herbal qualities, no unctuous fish sauce, and a tiny cilantro...
