Halfway through my meal, I found myself thinking: "Is this one of the best meals I've had in my life?"

Luis Eatery was absolutely incredible. It's actually three restaurants in one, a fine dining restaurant, a steakhouse, and a bistro. You can choose which section to sit in. We went with the fine dining option, although the prices seemed very economical for such a label.

The experience however, is worthy of places many times its price tag. The menu is simple but offered a diverse set of choices. I got the risotto and venison steak, while my wife got the spaghetti and roast chicken. Each of these relatively straightforward dishes were done to absolute perfection. They also offered a nice little complimentary amuse, which was essentially a tomato basil mozzarella salad in one bite, spiced up with some Chinese peppercorns. Even the desserts were brilliant as well.

We visited during the off season so the restaurant was not particularly busy. The service we had was absolutely flawless and rounded out the experience.

Overall, this was definitely the culinary highlight of our Italy trip. I can also say it was one of the best meals I've had in my life, even if it's not the most elaborate, easily outshining some of the Michelin starred restaurants I've dined at in...

Didn’t get a change to review after last visit in Oct 2023, recently visited several nights consecutively and still blew my mind.

Services vary between waitresses. Would like to let the management know that the lady with a pair of glasses from North Italy working here in Oct 2023 was not only exceptional and professional in doing her job, her kindness warmed our hearts in Selva which was why we are back again in Mar 2024. We haven’t seen her around this time, it’s a pity yet the food remains the same, fabulous!!!

All waiters were nice and attentive, except for one lady with very long hair from the South who is still here this time. We did not feel so welcoming compared with our last visit. But the food made up for it.

Linder is a landmark hotel in Dolomites. Family running this hotel takes invisible, yet effective care of every detail. I have been visiting hotel few times in early summer for mountain biking. Hotel was rebuild to highest standard few year ago. Luis Eatery is a hotel restaurant, available also for guests from outside. The quality of meal, service and drinks is outstanding. Really outstanding. Example is a green salad. It's just a selection of salads, herbs. Nothing else. oil, salt and pepper is on the table. And you get explosion of tastes. Food was amazing. We found so much harmony of flavours in each of Chef Antonio’s creations - from starter to dessert. Softest lamb I’ve had and the smoked pork was also remarkable. This place deserves a star and is of very good value. Extensive wine list with pairing suggestions that were rather spot on to what we ate. We had such a great time here, chic ambiance with wonderful view. The staff took great care of us especially Manuela who’s very experienced and attentive, and we liked the enthusiasm from the tall young guy in hair band a lot (sorry didn’t get to ask his name). A truly lovely dinner.

At first, I was turned off by the prices on the menu—will it be worth it? After eating here 2x in a row, I’ve decided this is my favorite restaurant in my 2 week trip in Italy (including Sicily and Rome). And it’s worth it. Treat yo self! Recommendations: - Jujube soup: sweet, aromatic growth and tender, melt in your mouth ravioli - Chanterelle mushroom risotto: this is how risotto ought to be! Rich, unctuous, flavorful, amazing texture. - Apple strudel: not very sweet, flavorful, great textures - Fig/honey/ricotta: the ricotta is whipped and so smooth Also the bread basket is great 🤌

Wir waren Gäste des Hotels und für ein Abendessen in Luis Eatery. Das Positive: Der Service, sprich die Mitarbeiter, waren sehr höflich, zuvorkommend und unaufdringlich present. Das Essen selbst war hervorragend, Gruß aus der Küche - gratinierter Parmesan, Vorspeise Hirschtatar mit Schwarzwurzeln und Himbeereszenz (16€), Pfifferlingrisotto - auf den Punkt gerührt (18€). Der Hamburger (19,50€) war wie gewünsch zart rosa gegrillt. Das Neutrale: Wir hatten unsere Bestellung aus der Restaurantkarte und der Barkarte ausgewählt und durften somit nicht in den schönen, großen Raum mit Aussicht, sondern wurden in ein Separee platziert. Die Terrasse war zu diesem Zeitpunkt zum Abendessen nicht gedeckt. Das Negative: Wir wurden von einer jungen Dame zum Tisch gebracht und gefragt: "Darf ich Sie, bevor ich Ihnen die Karte bringe, schon fragen, wie Sie Ihr Wasser möchten? Mit oder ohne Sprudel?" Etwas überrumpelt bestätigten wir 'mit Sprudel'. Als das Wasser in einer hauseigenen Flasche kam, so wie sie auch in unserem Hotelzimmer stand, konnte man glauben, das Wasser geht aufs Haus. Irrtum - stand dann mit 4,10€ auf der Rechnung. Richtig geärgert habe ich mich erst, als ich ein paar Tage darauf ein TikTok eines Gastronoms mit über 1 Mio. Klicks sah, das mit folgenden Worten begann: "Wasser hat die größte Marge. Wollen Sie wissen, wie Sie Ihren Umsatz enorm steigern können? Begrüßen Sie Ihre Gäste mit den Worten '"Darf ich Sie, bevor ich Ihnen die Karte bringe, schon fragen, wie Sie Ihr Wasser möchten?...'." Nun, ich bin der Meinung, dass so ein hervorragendes Restaurant wie Luis Eatery es nicht nötig hat, mit solchen Tricks zu arbeiten und eventuell Gäste mit dieser Masche zu verärgern.
