Best views for this hiking area / loop (Bullacia) and the food was delicious. Many options for traditional Tyrolean dishes. We went for the cheesy dumplings with bacon, really tasty. Service with a smile and there are reclining chairs to soak in the views and sun at the same time. Was a big relief finding this place on the way back to our hotel in Compaccio after lots of hiking. We were here for 2-3 hours in the afternoon just relaxing in the sun, was quiet - most people had already got the cable car back down to Ortisei - so would recommend going here around 2/3pm if you are looking for peace and quiet. However I wouldn’t hesitate to go back anytime of the day - views can’t be beaten in this area...

First place after the ascent from Compatsch. Arrived right at 0900, staff still seemed a bit hung over (: but were quite efficient. Our expectations were low as we’d never eaten at a mountain “hut.” We were blown away. The food tasted as good as the presentation. Add that the day was a bluebird 70 degree no wind day, and…. Perfection. We had yogurt mouse and a cranberry filled bread that’s hard to describe other than DANG!!! The cappuccino and americano were quite good too. We did not want to leave… but alas we did. Do NOT hesitate to...

Good berghütte. A bit pricey but still great! Would recommend getting the Kaiserschmarrn and not the apfelschmarrn, as i got the latter and more than half of it were pieces of appel, so the appel/schmarrn ratio was way off, when comparing the portions you get way more schmarrn when ordering the regular version (same price), which is what it's all about. I do have to say the schmarrn were absolutely delicious, almost perfect, but just got way too little for the price. The other dishes were also great and the...
