Amadora Sanremo — Restaurant in Sanremo

So right off the bat, this was the best steak dinner I've ever had! It was so good I got emotional. So we ordered the big steak for 2 persons and chose french fries and grilled vegetables. And everything was perfect! The Steak was Raw just like we ordered (that's something a lot of restaurants get wrong in the first place) and was so soft I hardly had to chew. The Fries appear hand cut and had some skin on them which gave them this little extra texture and taste and then the veggies... I personally don't like eggplant/aubergine. But this was different. It had a nice bite and flavors like I haven't experienced anywhere before. After dinner I ordered an affogato al Caffe, and for the first time in my life I didn't have to explain what I want, the only question was "vanille?" And it also tastes so good, with a very strong espresso over my Italian vanilla ice cream.

The service is bilingual, friendly, helpful, patient, and also quite beautiful TBH. The only thing is that the timing could be slightly better. The kids were already eating pizza as our steak was served. But then again, there were quite a lot of guests and not that much staff.

So all in all this restaurant is a solid 9.9/10 rounded up to the closest integer is 10/10 And...

I stopped over this place for lunch and I really don’t understand why and How it has almost 5 stars on google reviews. Everything apart from the service was terrible bad. The food is something unbeatable, the quality is below average and the taste is just wrong. You will see from my photos below that everything was over cooked or burned, everything was tasteless including the fries. The gave us a pack with couple slices of bread, which was clearly old enough to go to bin and not to give to customers. The calamaris on the platter were so chewy and rubbery, which is a sign of not been fresh. The prawn taste like they were from 2 to 3 ago. Now the salmon and the white fish were definitely reheated, there is zero % of chance that those fishes were freshly done. The mussels I was far too scared to try and get food poisoning. As I said, I don’t understand how on earth this place got almost 5 stars on google review! I don’t recommend this place not even for a 3am snack. Absolutely shocking!

Esperienza negativa, non ci tornerò!

Premetto che essendo la sera del 14 agosto avevamo messo in conto che, dato il casino, la cena sarebbe andata a rilento, ma così proprio è scandaloso.

Tavolo da 6 persone, ordiniamo 2 grigliate miste di pesce, un burger, un filetto di carne, una pizza + frittura mista e un piatto di maccheroni+frittura mista, chiedendo che le 2 fritture vengano portate dopo. Arrivano insieme le 2 grigliate, il burger e il filetto, ma per la pasta abbiamo aspettato un'altra mezz'ora buona, e dopo altri 10 minuti finalmente è arrivata anche la pizza. Quindi chi aveva ordinato primo e secondo ha iniziato a mangiare mentre gli altri avevano già finito. E ripeto per la tipologia di serata poteva anche starci, ma passa nuovamente più di mezz'ora e delle fritture neanche l'ombra. Spazientiti e ormai più vicini all'orario della colazione, che a quello della cena, chiamiamo il cameriere e gli diciamo che se la comanda non è ancora stata preparata di non voler più ricevere le 2 fritture. Il cameriere dopo essere andato in cucina a controllare, ci comunica che la comanda è stata persa.

Posso capire la lentezza, ma il perdersi la comanda è intollerabile.

Alla cassa al momento del conto non ci è stato neanche chiesto scusa per l'accaduto e per aver comunque rovinato la cena a due persone. Uno non pretende lo sconto, ma almeno le scuse sì.
