Bar Il Centrale — Restaurant in Santu Diadòru/San Teodoro

Disaster experience and bad food poisoning. My partner and I both had bad food poisoning in June 2023. We had caprese to share and same fish platters. The restaurant offered a discount on fish too, now I know why. Early morning after having dinner in that restaurant, my boyfriend woke up with a horrible diarrhoea and stomach ache, and then he started vomiting . The situation was bad for us because on that day as we had to check out from a hotel as we were relocating on the island. My boyfriend literally was throwing up on a hotel porch and laying with cramps in a hotel lobby as our small hotel could not leave us in a room as they had an arrival in our room. I thought I was lucky, however, in almost 36 hours after eating in that restaurant, it was my turn to throw up and sleep on a floor in the bathroom, i had exactly the same symptoms, but with almost 24h delay. All in all, 5 days of our 10 days vacation are wasted. It was a horrible experience, so much looked forward vacation (and expensive vacation ) turned out to be a nightmare. The rest on the vacation we were just avoiding restaurants altogether, we could not stand the smell of fish of sea feed even remotely.

I do not recommend this...

The venue is beautiful and the staff are kind enough but they extremely overcharged our group of 20+. We had a "set menu" which was way more expensive than the regular menu and they kept refusing to show us the standard menu (I saw it once which is why I know the food we ordered was cheaper than what they charged us). We came all the way from Australia and we were celebrating a wonderful friends birthday, we weren't expecting to be charged 1500 euro when most of us shared meals and didn't drink much! They also added an expensive bottle of wine that none of us ordered to the bill! Absolutely insane. I don't recommend going here, they...

Locale carino ,da noi frequentato per l'aperitivo. Spritz discreto ,e abbiamo molto apprezzato il tagliere che ti portano con l aperitivo . Il personale ,formato da giovani ragazze , dovrebbero essere più solari e gentili; si fanno gli affari loro e dopo forse vengono al tavolo ;altra cosa...non si può vedere il personale che fuma all interno del locale ,nè tantomeno la ragazza alla cassa ,anche se sigaretta elettronica...non è proprio bello da vedere da parte dei clienti...proprio il menefreghismo totale dei camerieri...(questo lavoro,che è anche il mio,lo devi fare con il sorriso SEMPRE,)Molto carina e gentile ,invece ,la ragazza di colore alla gelateria,davvero super super carina ed educata...AGGIORNO LA MIA RECENSIONE...tornata ieri sera in 6 persone ,penso sia INACCETTABILE che alle 22 non si possa bere il caffè in questo locale perche la caffetteria è chiusa, e che possano essere serviti solo cocktails o bibite...ASSURDO!!! Consiglierei inoltre di abbassare un po il volume della musica visto che già le cameriere non fanno bene il loro lavoro(si fanno soprattutto gli affari loro senza considerare i clienti), ma con la musica cosi alta non sentono le...
