After discovering this excellent Osteria in the Savona docks I have been eating here rather often. The quality of the food is excellent, although the menu is not particularly varied. Popular Italian cuisine is boldly and creatively reinterpreted with delicious results. The wine list is just as good and mainly consists of biodynamic wines. Capitiamo in questa osteria perché il cameriere è un amico, e quindi per correttezza non parlerò del servizio naïf, nel senso di vero e genuino. Piccolo locale ma con tre spazi ben divisi: sala piano terra, soppalco e esterno. Menù corto scritto sulla lavagna, ottima cosa e piena di Liguria. Il pesce comanda. Carta dei vini abbastanza lunga e con proposte inusuali e molte bio. Noi abbiamo scelto un buon trebbiano frizzante che teneva botta con i più modaioli Prosecchi. Poi carpaccio di gamberi rosa e branda. Due primi: pasta e ceci con baccalà e pasta patate e cozze. Perfette. Secondo calamaretti con verdure in padella. Freschi e morbidi che si scioglievano in bocca. Ho apprezzato anche la verdura in foglia nel piatto. Per chiudere una onorevole crostata con marmellata di arance amare. Caffè con la moka, che non avrà la cremina ma sempre meglio che i caffè orrendi della maggior parte dei ristoranti. Conto di 103 euro in due. Onestissimo vista la freschezza del pesce e la cura amorosa con cui il timido e quasi scostante cuoco mette nella preparazione...

Authentic and easy going, the menu is traditional with a twist but without being pretentious, simplicity is key. They have a great selection of natural wines.
