Don’t go to this place!!!! Food nice but you have to wait so long that you even forget what you ordered. There are only two waiters serving 22 tables The girl tries to be helpful but the boy has such an attitude each time you ask him something he looks at you like...”can’t you get it yourself?” We ordered the menu of the day because we thought it will be quicker as we noticed they were busy, and it took them 1 and 1/2 half hour to serve us a starter and a main course. Amazing location: right in the heart of Chianalea on a platform on stilts. We opted for the 7 tasters fish platter (tuna, swordfish arancino and parmigiana, prawn cocktail, anchovies etc.). Partner got trofie (pasta) with ghiotta sauce (excellent) I got flashed cooked tuna steak with Tropea's onion in agrodolce. Local wine (Greco) chilled to perfection. All fresh and well presented. È difficile che faccia recensioni pesantemente negative, ma in questo caso, a parte la splendida vista sul mare di sera, non si salva proprio nulla. Abbiamo prenotato alle 22:00 per cenare, in quanto prima non c’era posto. Siamo arrivati puntuali, ma ci hanno fatto accomodare alle 22:20. Consultando il menù (già abbastanza scarso di per sé), appena ci siamo messi ad ordinare i nostri piatti, il cameriere ci dice che la metà dei piatti da noi ordinati non erano più disponibili, mettendoci non poco in difficoltà, visto che ce lo ha detto quando stavamo già ordinando e ci aveva già portato acqua e pane, e a quell’ora non sarebbe stato semplice trovare un altro posto che ci desse qualcosa da mangiare. Decidiamo quindi a malincuore di mangiare le altre cose che avevamo deciso e che erano ancora disponibili, ossia 1 antipasto e 4 scialatielli all’astice. Tra l’antipasto e i primi è passata un’ora, abbiamo cenato alle 23:30. Nell’attesa abbiamo avuto modo di notare il contorno: tovaglie e tovaglioli sporchi/bucati, camerieri poco curati nell’aspetto e a tratti svogliati, per quanto visibile dall’esterno cucina non proprio nelle migliori condizioni e bagno sporco. Quanto alla qualità del cibo, niente di speciale, impiattamento mediocre e sapori nella norma, porzioni medie. Prezzo abbordabile e nella media, ma decisamente spropositato rispetto a ciò che il locale ha da offrire. La splendida vista non basta a bilanciare la carenza complessiva del posto.
