I was enticed by the prospect of their famed 82% dark chocolate sorbet. A concoction promising deep, rich flavours, it certainly set my expectations high. Upon tasting, the sorbet presented a delightful bitterness typical of high-cocoa content, a nod to its quality ingredients. However, Venchi’s version, while flavourful, did not quite meet the creamy, velvety expectations set by other local artisanal brands. The texture, slightly marred by the presence of minuscule ice crystals, suggested a hint of wateriness that detracted from the overall intensity of the chocolate. In comparison to its competitors in the bustling heart of Torino, Venchi’s gelato falls a tad short in delivering that luxurious mouthfeel, though it still stands out with its genuine taste. A solid four stars for Venchi — while there's room for improvement in texture, the authentic flavour makes it worth a visit for those near Porta Nuova or the Torino...

Where do I even start? This is hands down one of the best chocolate stores I’ve ever been to. The chocolates are some of the best-tasting I’ve ever had, and their service is impeccable. The lady at the store was extremely attentive and allowed me to sample a wide selection of their chocolates. After tasting their highly renowned Venchi chocolate bars, I feel like the master of the chocolate universe!

I think I’ve just become a chocolate connoisseur after the crash course the store attendant gave me on their chocolates. I can’t stress enough how fantastic this experience was. I ended up purchasing over 30 bars to stockpile and share with my friends.

This was one of the best chocolate experiences I had. The chocolate was amazing and the service was exceptional. The lady in the store gave us a taste of any chocolates in the store which allowed us to get a appreciate the chocolates of Venchi. I highly recommend all people in Torino to check this branch.
