Very quaint bar/restaurant. 3 small tables inside and a nice outdoor seating area in the rear. The food was very good and reasonable for the area. A lot of locals frequent this place which speaks volumes. The minus one star was due to the limited menu. Antipasto’s, burgers, sandwiches, and 3 entree’s were all that is offered. After waiting for a table for 30 minutes, we waited another 30 minutes to get our food. With a view to the toilet and a long wait for food (which was pretty good) I’d find it hard to give El Gato Negro a higher score than 3/5. We popped in for a late afternoon drink. Wonderful atmosphere. It’s a small venue with only 4 tables. Doesn’t stop locals coming in and having a drink or cafe standing at the bar. The staff were friendly and had passable English. A amazing range of beers and gins. Even some beers under their own name. We didn’t try any wine, but the wine fridge is well stocked.
